Appearance:
Asahi stands at 4 feet and 8 inches tall while weighing approximately 109 pounds. The young Genin appears to be frail and weak compared to the others. He fancies to wear a set of spectacles that are honestly just for decoration, but perhaps the most piercing feature about him is those liquid gold eyes of his. They hardly express his emotions and thus can given the mistaken cold-hearted aura. Asahi’s hair is the aquamarine blue color as it falls to his shoulders. On some occasions Asahi would braid a small portion of his hair on the side and add sea glass beads on it.
History:
Asahi originates from a normal family in Kirigakure who previously possessed no talent for shinobi arts. Instead his family took the liberty of trading and fishing for the village bringing income and selling wares to other cities. So the fact that Asahi even graduated the Academy was a feat on it’s own. Asahi wanted to become a shinobi, and his parents supported him if it was possible. For the odds were against him due to his lineage and due to his feeble presence.
As such, one can imagine the amount of bullying he got since he barely could pass the physical exams. Yet it came to the students’ surprise when Asahi almost aced the basic written exam. The boy grew and learned as much as he could from what the academy was willing to teach him. Training everyday in hopes of passing the final tests, and in simple terms he put everything into his studies such as noting the trajectory path of shurikens and the variety ways of throwing depending on situations. The most efficient way to channel chakra without wasting it. In the end Asahi was the quickest in his class to use chakra to walk on water and also the first to maintain efficient amount of chakra to run up a tree. All while the others were dragging behind, but not for long as Asahi would then go back and show them.
Personality:
When it comes to expressing his emotions it can be a tricky task. The most anyone would get out of him is maybe a soft smile, and even then it is uncommon to see. It’s not because of an emotional trauma or anything related to that. This is Asahi’s nature as he usually remains stoic and calm. On the inside Asahi feels the same emotions just like everyone else. Be it joy, grief, or rage.
Roleplay Sample:
The drizzling rain was quite soothing as the cold beads of water descends onto the islands. Waves rose in the distance only to crash in thick white seafoam. There was no flashes of lightning, no booming sounds of thunder, but there was the sea. Water as pitch black as the night, and the rain only creates a dull haze which obscures vision even more. The sound was more of a white noise as the rain soaks the dark sand with the moisture.
Standing on the wet sand is a kid with drenched from head to toe. To most people this weather is not exactly the best. To Asahi however, this is the perfect weather especially when it comes to practicing the water release. The kid would have assumed his position as his dark blue hair sticks to his forehead, and holds the Tiger sign with his hands. Asahi would build his chakra in his stomach and molds it into an orb shape before adding water chakra into it. Taking a deep breath, Asahi opened his mouth as he attempted to launch the ball of water out. But somewhere along the way the chakra became flawed and unstable to where the orb busted coming up. So all Asahi got was warm water overflowing his lips. It would be similar to coughing up water as Asahi gagged and coughed. His throat became rough from that experience, but the thought of failure and the images of other kids laughing at him brought a bitter taste to his mouth.
So Asahi would assume his stance once more and builds up his chakra. The tiny beads of water washing over his body. This time Asahi builds up more chakra that is more potent in hopes of making the chances of failure slimmer than before. Asahi couldn’t tell if he was sweating or it was just the rain water as a familiar chill trickled down his spine. Even so he wouldn’t break his concentration, and when Asahi goes to execute the launch. Well, this time he put too much chakra into it or rather it was too strong for him to handle as the orb comes up. It busted again because Asahi felt like the orb was ripping his chakra away and that was similar to ripping a limb off. It was only because Asahi was keeping a stable flow of chakra along the path so when he got it up to his throat that built up chakra would help launch it out. But at the end of it he put a too strong strain and it penetrated the orb.
