Nyguyen sat at his desk to work for the last time. Most of his final work consisted of accepting the 1 Million Ryo Independence tax from Iwagakure and signing the relevant documents to confirm their freedom. He would remove that money from the Treasury before placing it in his own account. He'd need to form a trust with it so that should anything befall him or his clan, there'd be money set aside to help them. Once that business was complete, Nyguyen would begin drafting conscription and training orders to replace the legions of Konoha troops that had died during the war. He'd also form a transition council to help his successor get adjusted to the new role. Finally, he'd sign an executive order granting the Kaifeng lucrative businesses, positions, and real estate in Tenzaku Town as part of his promise to them during the Mountain Wars.
With all of that done, Nyguyen would hang up his robe and hat for the final time before stepping out of the office.
.....Goodbye. He said to no one in particular. If there was one bright side to his resignation, its that Mercedes wouldn't make fun of him for wearing that dorky looking helmet anymore.
