Old Winds "Hunting: Akihiro and Ikomiki"

Today was a solemn day. The Minds Eye of Kagura had brought him to this place, where he needed to be. He was able to find . Satomi stood upon a large rooftop, many meters into the air, where he had a view across from him into. It was a building standing adjacent to the Mockingbird Base about 50 meters away. Across from them inside of a room with a large window, he was able to see his cousin Akihiro, and the real target Ikomiki. His Mangekyo Sharingan was able illuminate them clearly.

The Professor was outfitted in his armor and all of his ninja tools. The ANBU outfit showing this was a mission of the highest matter. An owl mask covering his face except his eyes. He had been tasked to do something he had dreaded for quite a while. When he was tasked in taking out Chikamatsu for treasonous crimes, he had revealed to Satomi something dreadful.

No person could lie to him, he revealed troubling news about the acquisition of Senju DNA. He told him that was pretty much murder. Satomi couldn't believe Aki was apart of it. However, that was his cousin, he would never question his families motives, no matter how crazy. He was fine with Aki's sudden attack on Moonspire, though it was ill fated. He didn't plan to confront them on the matter. However, the Hokage, had figured it out somehow.

Now he had been ordered to apprehend them both. A mission he would not allow just anyone to take without his presence being there. He would make sure it went right. Alongside him were allies sent to aid him. He believed they would have been sent regardless if he was there or not. Which made it imperative he spearheaded this.

Arisu popped open a portal in front of her. She wore the same standard gear she had been, with a tiny translucent bell around her neck on a metal necklace. The portal connected to the Mizukage's office in Kirigakure, and she partially stepped through it, mostly just poking her head and arm through it. Her Rinnegan was fully active, and the Chakra sensory of her eyes as well. The fighting was about to happen, and she needed to be able to see.

Assuming Kitsuki was present, she'd pull the Kirigakure Jounin out of the portal and into Konoha, ready to get the arrest underway. It had been a brief moment of explanation to her about the situation, and where the attack was going to take place, as well as Nyguyen's stipulations that Akihiro would need to be arrested and taken in alive if possible, to be taken into custody by Satomi, but that Ikomiki's life was up to them what to do with.

Regardless, Kitsuki wouldn't particularly need to participate in the fight, she was more required to prevent teleportation out.

Kitsuki stepped through the portal with her bow drawn and her arrow notched. Kit's Eagle Eyes were in full effect and the moment she stepped from the portal, she could see both Akihiro and Ikomiki through the large hospital window from the adjacent building upon which she stood. She aimed at Akihiro, knowing him to be the teleporter. The real threat she posed wasn't with the arrow itself (although she was fully capable of using it) but rather her ability form an Inversion Bubble and stop the Sparrow from leaving the area. Kit focused on him and waited for her compatriots to make a move. Zizz allowed part of her psyche to slip into the future. A bit of help from posterity. A multiplicity of possibilities and futures flooded Kitsuki's mind as she listened and watched the scene before them.

Satomi's left eye flared as he activated its ability. Kamui. Looking directly at Ikomiki's right leg, a Kamui portal would open. It was small but powerful enough to swallow her leg and transport it into the Kamui Dimension. This attack would be sudden and warning enough for Aki to suspend all attempts. Whatever the reason, Satomi would at least be there to hear it. However the Otsu had to be taken down. The Professor would unsheathe his Chakra Sabre making a gesture for his allies to make their move as well. They also knew that it was nigh impossible to catch Akihiro. A man known to have taken down multiple nations in a single night.


Satomi would keep a watchful eye for any sudden movements from Ikomiki. His Sharingan able to keep up even the fastest Shinboi. Keeping a steady on Ikomiki who was dangerous in her own right. Having Senju blood was nothing to understimate. It was important she'd be subdued immediately. Akihiro, he'd leave that to his two allies. They'd fought together in the past, today they kept that pact. "Let's begin." Satomi said to them both.

Arisu had waited patiently for the go ahead on the arrest, and with her Chakra visualization active, noticed the buildup and transfer of chakra from Satomi's Kamui eye, targeting Ikomiki, who was unconscious and comatose. She frowned, unsure why he'd targeted someone who wasn't conscious, but she didn't comment on it.

Reaching out a hand, she launched out several chains, stretching across the way until it crashed through the window, 5 of the chains looking to wrap up and bind Akihiro, one covering his eyes, one wrapping his legs, one on each hand to inhibit handseals, and two to keep guard, while the other 5 did the same to the bed ridden Ikomiki. With Akihiro's eyes covered, he may be able to activate his Mangekyou Sharingan, but if he did, he'd be unable to use Amaterasu without burning himself as the flames would spawn directly where his face was. Without his Bijuu abilities to help, shut down by the chains, he'd find himself dead if he tried.

A secondary function was to reduce the power of any jutsu he may be able to use without handseals, as well as covering his eyes to prevent Sharingan: Genjutsu from being useful.

With Akihiro and Ikomiki subdued, the chains would retract, bringing them through the broken window. "Knock him out, I need a moment with Ikomiki and I won't be able focus on anything else for a moment." Assuming everything went as planned, Arisu would lay Ikomiki down on the roof, sitting on top of the cat girl's chest clenching her arms together with her knees to keep her from being able to make Hand seals if she were to wake up randomly.

Once Akihiro was knocked out, Arisu would place her hand on Ikomiki's forehead and activate the Six Paths Technique, beginning the process of absorbing the Otsutsuki's path. As she did so, her Chakra Visualization and Chains both cancelled as she was unable to hold the focus on any technique other than the Six Paths Technique. The whole process wasn't exactly fast, but she wasn't in much of a rush.

Zizz popped out of the folds of Kitsuki's hair as she saw spacetime bend around Ikomiki's leg. The sudden suction and warping of the limb caused the Angel to gasp.

She analyzed the technique and retained information on how it functioned for this knowledge might come in handy later. If the technique was successful in ripping off Iko's leg, Kit would grimace in disgust. She couldn't afford to look away though. The operation was too important to flinch at the sight of carnage. The act upset her deeply and she wondered whether it was even necessary given Ikomiki's status as a coma patient. Unfortunately, Kitsuki knew better than to openly challenge her ally on this question. This was their village and it was a miracle that the Hokage had even agreed to the op. This was especially true considering they were arresting his clan mate. Additionally, Ikomiki was quite powerful and if they underestimated her, she might slip through their grasp. Satomi's decision to cripple her was cruel but arguably justified. The ANBU Commander gave the signal and Arisu sent her chains out to capture both Ikomiki and Akihiro. Kitsuki would provide support by keeping her eyes on the trunk of Akihiro's body. The Uchiha was a known teleporter and on the chance he wasn't overcome with grief, he might try to blink out of his current location to avoid danger. Kit's Inversion would remedy that problem. She also had her bow trained on him so that if he tried a more conventional means of escape, he'd be fired on. Zizz was re-experiencing the counter from the end to the beginning giving her insight on where he'd move should he choose to do so. Any evasive maneuver would be dealt with by the best archer in the world.

Assuming Arisu's capture of the Uchiha was successful, Kitsuki would sigh a breath of relief. She'd reconfigure her bow into a cane and place the arrow back in the quiver. The Mockingbird operatives' options were limited now and once she knocked out the Sparrow, they could rest easy. Arisu needed a few moments of silence so that she could absorb Ikomiki's path. Kit would gladly give it to her, but first she needed to handle Akihiro. She walked over to the civilian killing terrorist and cold-clocked him with a powerful punch. Ordinarily, the blow would turn his head into pasta, but through the power of Time Release she was able to revert the damage to a more acceptable level. It was the chronokinetic equivalent to "holding back" or "pulling one's punches." Should the solid pow connect, AKihiro would be knocked completely unconscious. With Aki out of the picture and Iko about to have her path taken, Kit stood up straight and watched as history was made. Before Arisu would set to work, Kit would address her with a singular warning.

"Arisu." she'd say.

Once she had the woman's attention, she'd follow with:

"This is the last one. I mean it."

The Angelic Princess didn't feel the need to elaborate further on the statement. They both knew what she meant. Relations between them had become strained and while Kit had an innate desire to get along with everyone, she feared that the Ōtsutsuki's goals were too far from her own. Hopefully the warning would bring the alien back to reality. If there was any chance of reconciliation between the two of them, it'd start by Arisu acknowledging Kit's concerns and agreeing to abide by her restrictions.

Ozai's most powerful attack was finite and always accurate. His Kamui hit true, completely taking the Otsutsuki's lower leg. She would be downed immediately. While Arisu, quickly acted, he could sense an immense amount of chakra. Chains began to sprout from her and she quickly subdued Akihiro and even managed to grab Ikomiki as well. There was a disturbance within Satomi's sphere of sense. Sendo had arrived. He also let know one of his top ANBU ninja in on this hit as Aki and Iko were respectively strong. As Arisu brought the two over to them, Kitsuki walked forward and knocked out Akihiro. Better her than me. He thought to himself.

Sendo arrived on top of the roof with them. Kneeling he waited for Satomi's orders. He would allow Arisu to do what she wanted, he was entirely indebted to her anyways. "Thank you both for this quick recovery. This was no easy task." Of course he would have to figure out way to restrain Aki until his trial. He certainly was one of the most elusive ninjas in the world. They needed time to prove what he did. Even though Satomi was sure he was, with the power of Mind's Eye of Kagura.

Arisu looked at Kitsuki, who had said her name, impressing upon her that she wasn't going to let Arisu get another Otsutsuki's Rinnegan powers. Ultimately, however, it didn't matter what Kitsuki said regarding the matter. Arisu wasn't hunting down abilities currently anyhow, but she wouldn't turn them away if they fell in her lap, or if she found herself fighting another Otsutsuki who was after her own paths. But they'd cross that bridge when they got there.

The thing was, Arisu wasn't going to ask for permission from Kitsuki. It wasn't the woman's permission to grant, nor was Arisu acknowledging that Kitsuki's permission was something she needed before moving forward with any of her actions. If the woman decided to attack her in the future for happenstance, then Arisu had misjudged her character anyhow, and she'd have to put her down for the danger that she presented.

Her hand pressed to Ikomiki's forehead and without any sort of resistance from the unconscious woman, Arisu absorbed the Animal Path back into herself. Her Rinnegan flashed briefly and her eyes shifted to accommodate a second ring in them once more. As she stood back up, Arisu's back sprouted the chains she'd previously exhibited, and resumed the wrapping up of Akihiro and Ikomiki. She didn't want to kill Ikomiki right now, and still had to deliver proof of her to Kumogakure, so she'd just keep her prisoner for the time being.

"No, thank you for helming this mission Lord Satomi. It was a pleasure to work with you again. Do you have a method of keeping Akihiro in prison? A fuuinjutsu user to shut down his ability to use chakra or Bijuu energy? Or a medical professional to keep him sedated the entire time? Or Kitsuki, do you have a way to keep him unconscious in the meantime? I'm sure you've got a lot to do in Kirigakure, but if Konoha requires someone to keep him out until trial, I'd rather him not be able to escape because the people who could keep him down didn't stick around."

The Otsutsuki wanted to make sure that this entire venture wasn't for naught in the future either. It wouldn't do to have him simply escape because they had no means of holding Akihiro.

Arisu didn't respond to thee statement. There was no indication that she understood and accepted the terms that Kitsuki were giving her. She took that to mean that her warning would not be heeded. She could only shake her head in disappointment as she wrestled with what she might have to do should Arisu cross the red line. For now, taking Animal Path from a known terrorist was the lesser evil and so she permitted it to happen. Arisu had acquired the Animal Path once before and she had not gone mad with power so in Kit's eyes there was little harm in letting her do it again.

Zizz and Kit nodded their heads in-sync. Their hope was as bright as Zizz's aura  but their resolve was strong as Kit's biceps. They were determined to keep Earth safe from all threats, foreign and domestic. Kit watched the process closely and noted a few things about it that only furthered her disdain for the Ōtsutsuki. The deception she suffered was not a figment of her imagination. She said nothing though even as a second ring appeared around the first. Once the deed was done, the prisoners were once more secured.

Kit turned to Satomi and said: "Hopefully their capture will finally bring peace to this fair land."

Airsu asked if she had a method of keeping him unconcious until he could stand trial. Kitsuki responded:

"I do...but it is rather invasive and it requires my continued presence. I'd hope that Konoha has sealers capable of restraining Akihiro but if not I can ensure that he remains unconscious. I don't think we can both stay in Konoha to keep watch over him. Kiri is unattended at the moment and I'd rather get back to it. Since you have closer contacts with the Hokage, you can stay Arisu. Let me know if there is no other way to keep him down for the count and I will return promptly."

Kitsuki noticed that Ikomiki's leg appeared to be healing. She had been worried that the girl might die from blood loss but it appeared the surgery she had undergone had staunched the flow of blood and was now slowly reconstituting the limb. Interesting.

This particular part of the mission brought no joy to the Ghost. What distracted him was the strange chakra coming off of Kitsuki. The Sharingan eyes peered with a renewed sense of adventure, and with the Mind's Eye, gave him some clues. Whatever it was that housed itself inside of Kitsuki, it was not of this world. Probably similar to Akihiro, whom had bijuu stored inside them. To him they had been cursed, as vessels to higher beings.

Arisu had both of the targets restrained. She spoke to Satomi, thanking him for running the mission. Also bringing up how they were going to keep them under arrest. "The pleasure is mine Lady Arisu. We have a Fuuinjutsu specialist in our compound. If you could follow us, we can have them both under lock."

The other Jounin Kitsuki also spoke to him and Satomi replied, "With Arisu escorting the prisoners to our compound. We can take it from there. Follow me." If they didn't have anything else to say or do, Satomi would give the signal for Sendo to follow behind. As Satomi would leave the rooftop and start heading towards the Uchiha Compound. Ready if the Ikomiki girl were to awaken. As her leg began to heal by itself, no doubt the power of the Senju she stole. There was much treachery afoot.

Given that there was a way to actually shut down his abilities with Fuuinjutsu, and Akihiro had been captured, that meant that Kitsuki's role here was finished. Arisu stared at a space a few feet in front of her and opened up a portal back to the office of the Mizukage, so that Kitsuki could get directly back to work.

Holding out a hand so the Kitsuki could make contact with her, Arisu clarified. "The portal won't work for you if you aren't making contact with me. I'll return when everything is completed, but I still need to deliver proof of Ikomiki's death to Kumogakure as well." Once Kitsuki grabbed her hand, she'd let the woman walk into the portal and then would retract her hand, closing it behind her. More chakra spent, but the ordeal had gone smoothly.

From there she'd follow Satomi, holding Akihiro and Ikomiki in the chains. She kept making sure that Akihiro remained unconscious, occasionally knocking him around slightly to make sure he didn't recover. She'd hand over Akihiro when prompted, but Ikomiki was hers to take, she still needed to make a trip to Kumogakure with some proof of her death, so she'd need to make a stop at a hospital and do some stuff to guarantee preservation.

Kit's work was done. The teleporter had been captured and now she could return to Kirigakure. She knew that it was in vogue for shinobi to attack villages while their strongest nin were out so she made it a point not to leave the village unless there was someone of similar strength capable of covering for her. With Arisu wrapping up things in Konoha, that left Kit to hold down the fort.

Kit nodded and accepted Arisu's hand. She stepped through the portal and into the Mizukage's Office.

Kimiko walked through the Mockingbird base and rather quickly saw something was wrong. Where Akihiro had been working, there was a hole shattered through the window, glass having fallen inward rather than outward. Blood on the ground, from Ikomiki's leg being removed, although she didn't know what it was from personally. Alarm bells rang in her head immediately, and her Sharingan activated. It didn't matter that she wasn't geared up for combat, Akihiro hadn't checked in with her, so something had happened.

Gathering up her chakra, Kimiko simply vanished from the room, using the Flying Thunder God technique to travel to Akihiro's location. So long as he hadn't had the seal removed and was still on the planet, she would be able to lock onto him no problem. It was good that the last time they'd really spoke, he'd taught her FTG and had her mark him as well, otherwise she may have been unable to track him down.
