The room was dark when Kohiro decided to leave. All was silent in the house, and the young brunette woman he was leaving lay still. Shuffling through his deck, Kohiro frowned. Tonight hadn't been all that fun for him either, another in a long string of disappointments. Leaving a card on her nightstand, it was simply the 2 of Clubs.
Kohiro closed the door to her bedroom softly, adjusting his shirt slightly as it had come ever so slightly untucked. The hour was late, and he'd just finished with a woman he'd found at a bar not long ago. He'd found her quite appealing, and had been meaning to get to her for weeks now, but tonight was the night he'd made his move. She'd been just drunk enough, made just the right amount of mistakes on her end. Kohiro was an opportunist, and when he saw an in, just the right amount of vulnerability, he made his move.
One might assume he'd slept with the woman, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Kohiro was a much more dangerous type of predator, one who hunted and killed for sport. An equal opportunist, he didn't care whether it was a man, woman, or child. He simply enjoyed the sport of the hunt, but lately he'd been finding that civilians just weren't cutting it for him anymore. It was far too easy.
Even with this woman, he'd ended her with a simply flick of his knife through her neck. There had been little resistance, and she'd hardly even noticed he was there. Someone untrained to the Shinobi arts wouldn't have any idea that they were in any danger until their life was already ended. He walked through the apartment, moving towards the door when a sound made him pause. He wasn't alone in the place.
