Genius Assistance

Kitsuki needed Okane's help enchanting her armour. She was a bit nervous about meeting him again. She was rather annoyed at the way he had cut their date business meeting short but she knew if she acted like a salty spoiled brat, it'd only reflect poorly on herself, her village, and her alma mater. There was no use acting overly excited to see him but she'd need to get her frustration to herself. She showed up in the weapon's district with her armour with a professional demeanor. Because the enchantment called for her usage of Time Release, she'd be there to assist in the enchanting process.

Okane had obliged the second meeting of a repeat customer via request rather quickly some may say. Perhaps he rather enjoyed her company or perhaps he simply enjoyed showing off his skills. Of course for him their last meeting had merely been an appreciation of each others education and he saw nothing he had done wrong. So he expected a more than friendly meeting with her. Based on his last impression he rather assumed she would expect the same. So when she entered his shop as was their rendezvous point he would bow his head politely and smile. His silk words echoing out.


"And how may I serve you again my dear?"

"Just a simple enchantment" Kitsuki said with a cheerful smile. There wasn't anything in her tone or posture that indicated she was annoyed with him but rest assured she was in fact quite annoyed with him. She returned his bow and placed her items on the counter. If and when he needed her help for the enchanting she'd be there, the exact specifications of what she wanted were written down on a small note.

She would mention a simple enchantment and he would smile. He would reach out and take hold of her written instructions before smiling a little as if amused. He would quietly set the notes to the side and look to her a moment before nodding slightly. "This will take some time." He warned her before as if from up his sleeve a small pinpoint chisel and tiny hammer appeared. Quietly he would set to work on the enchantment she asked for. Tapping away for a very long time and concentrating on his work carefully. Only utilizing her power when he needed it to charge the seals.

Kitsuki nodded and patiently waited for him to finish up the process. She thought about what she wanted for lunch, what piece of music she'd like to practice today, and what if any adjustments she needed to make to her training regimen. Kitsuki wasn't exactly the type of person to be shy but being around Okane made her rather self-concious so she tried to think of anything and everything except the fact that he was standing there right in front of her.

Finally after a time he had finished all the seals and imbued them with her power as she willed it. He would neatly stack it all in front of her as she had presented it to him with a smile having hardly broken a sweat. "There you are. Consider it a gift among friends. "

Kitsuki would assist with the enchantment process as required and accepted the armour. She gave him a nice smile and said: "Thank you. Gift received and appreciated!" as a friend.... Kit thought. She had no real reason to be angry with him but it was rather disappointing that he didn't see her in that light. She shrugged it off and said to hell with decorum. She gave him a quick hug and then departed from the area.


Exit

Okane would smile and bow his head to her as one does when being formal. It was as if that was all he ever was. Perhaps he just wasn't attracted to others? Or perhaps he was oblivious to their attraction to him. She would thank him and he would smile but before he could really answer she hugged him and he blinked before smiling and gently squeezing her back. So he wasn't totally a soulless metal man. He would watch her go before letting out a breath. What a strange and delightful woman.
