Gitchii's day off

ooc just a way for Gitchii to meet a few people in game IO,NK (no sparring/fighting)

Making his way down through the streets of Konoha Gitchii was quite optimistic for what the day’s events could lead to. It had been a while since he had some free time, there was always something to do back at the conglomerate, so it was nice to be able to take a walk through the village with a bit of freedom. He was hoping there would be a chance to speak with some ladies but he wasn’t to worry, he mainly wanted to get something to eat and if the opportunity came along, have a friendly conversation.

He walked with confidence as always strutting his way down the high street before finally getting to his favourite restaurant, It had been a while and he was craving the taste again. The bar was long with multiple chefs at hand. Most seats were taken but he sat in the corner leaving an empty seat next to him. He eagerly awaited to be served. He grinned from ear to ear, even a sliver of his tongue came out as he awaited. “can I have one of your finest bowls of Tonkotsu Ramen please, make it a large.“ a tiny bit of drool came to the side of his mouth before slurping it back up. come to papa he thought to himself.

The young senju boy had an agenda to trick people for some coin tonight, and today’s target was a restaurant that served good food. Once there the boy would play card game and challenging people for some coins, and in order to trick people for all of the money they have he had to let them win a couple of times first.

But after that he started to cheat in every way possible, somehow, he managed to fool some idiots into giving up a lot of the money they had on them. But he was still not that good at it, so when he noticed that people might figure out his tricks, he decided to call it a day and quit while he is ahead.

Wanting to leave with the little extra money he just made, the boy stopped as he noticed someone enter and order food. And a weird sense of déjà vu, deciding to walk up to the other genin and just tap his shoulder boldly the boy would just declare. “Hey you look familiar where do I know from?”

Gitchii still sat there waiting patiently for his order to arrive. He sensed a presence proudly walking over in his direction, he tried to ignore, as not to be rude enough to stare, maybe the person was just going to walk by him. His senses increased when he felt the presence reach out to him, followed by a touch to his shoulder. he turned with gazing eyes, He was shaken to see a little boy, proud as day to his side. he didn’t know what to think at that point, maybe a civilian child but he soon noticed a headband. He wasn’t sure why the boy would do such a thing, it was a very rude gesture even for a child to touch a stranger nonetheless.

The boy then asked a question only the boy could answer, Gitchii wanted to point this out but not wanting to sound like a smart ass. “ Sorry but I have no idea, boy, “ he said softly. He didn’t want to come across as demeaning as he was always put in these positions, being so much older than most other genin he left like he unintentionally seemed to talk down to them, he stuck out like a sore thumb. Maybe this is how the child had recognised him. Gitchii was known for his high intelligence being able to use much stronger jutsu than most and a ration specialist but there was no way for the child to know this himself. Unless he had been spying.

He then thought and said to him “ maybe you know me from the congregation we do stick out I guess “ he said with a little chuckle. “ Anyway my name's Gitchii, yes that’s right just Gitchii, “ he said as most would ask him for his clan name but not being part of a clan and coming from the congregation most didn’t find the need to have a last name at all. “ perhaps you would like to take a seat while I wait for my order and maybe introduce yourself, you seem like a ball of energy “.

The little boy pouted as he crossed his arms, this guy was not being helpful, he knew that because of this the annoying feeling of familiarity would keep nagging him for the rest of the day, why does this kid look familiar. It must be one of those elusive question, that he will never be able to figure out.

But maybe its not important, he can get to know him right now. “I guess that could be, I am still not sure, it’s just a little thing forget about it. let’s start this meeting the right way then man.”

The young boy sat on the chair next to the dark haired kid, a smile still on his face with his pouch full of money on the table. He was going to use this money to buy some candy or food, so why not use some of it now. “Nice to meet you Gitchi, that’s a cool name, kinda unusual though. mine is normal, I am just Senju Izo.”

“Of course I am a ball of energy, I am the mighty Izo, I am going to be a big name when I grow up, so you better remember this meeting in the far future you will be tell people that I met kid Izo when he was still learning to become a strong guy.” The boy said with a lot of hand gestures and theatrics, super confident in his words Izo had a big dumb smile on his face.

“What about you Gitchii, what do you want to do when you grow up, are you also going to be a very strong ninja of the village?”

The boy agreed to take a seat with him, he placed a bag full of money on the table in front of him, gitchii wondered where he could have got all that ryo from, he could do with a little extra himself, weapons were not cheap to get.

Once the boy had said his name and introduced himself gitchii thought to himself the boy had guts probably more than himself, he knew what he was going to do and be successful. something gitchii wished he had himself a little, he knew what he wanted but never openly said it like the boy just did. “ a Senju, then you are destined for greatness, you sure do have some big boots to fill then,”

The senju were renowned for their power, wood release if the user was lucky enough to have it but it seemed like more and more members had started to unlock that power recently. It was something gitchii found fascinating.

“ You sure are confident. for myself, I know I need to become stronger. I'd like to lead my people one day. you said you're a senju, may I ask if you’re able to use wood release ?” Gitchii knew he needed some powerful friends to get where he wanted in life. this izo could be a part of that.” If you are able I’d love to see something being done with it “

After Gitchii replayed, a bowl had been served to him, he turned to take it and pulled two chopsticks from their stand in the bar and took a pinch and started to eat, he looked back at Izo to hear his reply
