Appearance:
Leonidas is a 6' tall lad with dark skin that compliments his amber eyes. His body is rather lean yet still muscular enough to be considered as an athlete. Leon's long arms are suitable for the way of swordplay, and his hands are calloused from years of training in Kenjutsu. On his left arm is a Chinese dragon that spirals up to his back shoulder, where the face has a grin full of vicious teeth on it.
Leonidas has a long, dark mane that he dyed the edges to be a tint of red. Often he keeps his hair into a low tail, but there are times where he lets his younger sister style his hair in whatever she can think of. Otherwise he traditionally wears the Hakama that's often found amongst the roaming Ronin. Often wearing the sash to keep his katana and wakizashi or something equivalent to those. Otherwise he's usually wearing a simple short sleeved white shirt with dark pants and a pair of sandals. Sometimes Leon will wear boots armored or not when the temperature is cold.
History:
Born onto the infamous family of the Inazuma clan, Leonidas was raised outside of Kumogakure and lived in Takagamahara for half of his life. Alas he wasn't the only child as Athena Inazuma, his younger sister, grew up alongside him for as long as he can remember. Their parents were strict, yet fair as it were. Both Leonidas and Athena were trained in the ways of the blade. A philosophy that their father wears like his armor as it is his shield. Ironically, the philosophy is not so different from the religion of Hakkun, and occasionally they paid their respects to the dragon god.
When word spread of the Golden Temple's demise, Tyrell Inazuma, Leon's father, brought the family up to the temple to provide aid and even staged a rescue mission. Leonidas found the scene to be gruesome however as he only peeked inside of the temple, and Leonidas took Athena away from the dead before she could see anything and kept her distracted by clearing out the rubble. Granted they were still children as well, so there wasn't much to be done on their part. Tyrell, who was supported by his wife, Laura Inazuma who was a renowned swordswoman, they gathered the monks' bodies and gave them proper funerals.
Leonidas didn't know what was worse, watching the bodies burn to ash, or to see the families bawling their eyes out. It made the boy sympathize with them as Leonidas couldn't help except to think 'what if that was me? What if it was mother and father burning on the pyre? Or worse, what if it was Athena?' From then on, after some time to recuperate his mentality to draw upon the best conclusion. Leonidas sought out strength to protect his family, and Tyrell was inspired by his boy's motivation. So Leonidas trained under his father's watch, and occasionally his mother would serve as Leonidas's sparring partner. While she wasn't gifted with the Ranton, Laura still outmatched Leon tenfold. Even so, Leonidas didn't give up and he grew from it. All because he dreamed. He dreamed of the world not to be bathed in flame, but of life.
Shortly before the wars began, Tyrell received a summons from the Inazuma in Kumogakure. So they made their way over to the Hidden Village of Cloud, and it was there that the Inazuma held a meeting to persuade fellow Inazumas to lend Kumogakure their support. As a result, Leonidas joined the Kumogakure military as a genin and aimed to become Kumogakure's sword.
Personality:
Leonidas is a protective young man over his family, and especially for his little sister named Athena. He's also compassionate and disciplined in serving his nation to protect his family. Deception is not in his nature, and it's actually something he frowns upon. As a result, Leon is rather blunt and honest. If it's something not easily spoken due to lack of authority or that it's a secret then he'll tell them that it's none of their business to know. Which has earned him a fair share of enemies, but it's also earned him an equal number of allies as well.
Leonidas has a soft spot for animals and is less on guard with animals than he is with people. More than likely he is kind to these creatures and can be often found with a stray cat or dog. Sometimes even has a bird on him. Additionally, Leonidas has a strange hobby of collecting feathers. It's just fascinating to him, and he's familiar with the use of a flute.
