Armory Use
Kirigakure's Armory serves as a means for its ninja to have readily available tools and armor for combat when duty calls. After all, as military personnel for the village it is the village's responsibility to have ensure its own ninja are suited for the dangers of conflict.
It is important to note this is a privilege, and not a right. Kirigakure's Administration has the right to suspend any ninja's access to the armory if fraudulent behavior is suspected.
Basic Tools (T1): These are your meat and potatoes. These are tools you'll often go through the most and are fairly disposable. Because of their popular use and cheap manufacturing, all Kirigakure ninja may receive up to fifty of these basic tools per month.
Specialized Weapons (T1): As a Kenjutsu or Bukijutsu martial artist, or simply somebody who wishes to deal serious damage, you may invest into Specialized Weapons. Due to their non-disposable nature and higher manufacturing cost, these weapons are limited to one every three months. Some specialized weapons, such as Giant Shuriken, come in sets of two. These are noted by a 2 next to the item listing.
Standard Issue Body Armor (T2): Much like specialized weapons, armor is even more resource costly. Ninja are limited to replacement Standard Issue Body Armor once every six months. In order to receive Standard Issue Body Armor you must qualify by being at least Chuunin.
Tactical Response Armor (T3): Tactical Response Armor is Tier Three, which generally limits their use to ANBU or to Jounin during war time. Tactical Response Armor is a set of plated armor used to protect the wearer in the harshest combat conditions.
How to manage your gear!:
Managing your own tools, armor, and weapons are essential to avoid paying out of pocket for damaged or broken tools. Take advantage of Kirigakure's GI Bill (free Comfortable Living Expense) to repair damaged tools for free. If a weapon or armor is completely destroyed and cannot be repaired, no worries! Simply bring the remaining weapon/armor to any one of the Tetsudashi stores to have them remade. This benefit is also free of cost.
Tier Access:
Although the Armory is a public utility there are certain limitations some ninja have over others. This is to ensure the right ninja are getting the gear the need for their job and the risks associated with them. If it wasn't obvious, having the next tier grants you the tiers below. So having access to Tier Three will also give you access to Tier Two and Tier One.
Tier One: Every Kirigakure ninja starts at Tier One. These are the most basic privileges giving ninja access to the weapons Kirigakure provides.
Tier Two: Tier Two is generally limited to Chuunin and higher ranking ninja. Tier Two gives access to a lot of basic light armor which is considered part of the uniform. Ninja who have access to Tier Two are encouraged to wear their uniform while on shift. During times of war or hardship, all active ninja have access to Tier Two items.
Tier Three: Lastly, this tier is reserved for the VIPs and workhorse ninja of the village. Tier Three armor offers some of the best protection that the Armory can offer. Tier Three access is limited to ANBU, and may be given to Jounin during wartime. Tier Three may also be granted by any Commanding Officer.
