History:
Beneath the surface of glimmer and glory given to shinobi of the Hyuga clan existed a dark reality known only to its members. Long before he had chosen his own name, Mū was born as Hanzo Hyuga. Firstborn son to Heihachi, a shinobi of Hyuga nobility well achieved and respected amongst the clan for his strength and feats. Naturally a great deal of expectations came to fall upon the child known as Hanzo upon the moment of his conception, yet as if smited by the gods on purpose to mock his lineage of excellence, the child had been cursed. Instead of the purity present in the white pupils of the normal Hyuga, Hanzo had been birthed with a wretched pair of green eyes. When other parents would have been delighted to have their offspring possess rare emeralds for eyes, for the proud people of the Hyuga clan the color was a complete aberration. As it was the very source of power within the Hyuga, those who had not been born with the white eyes that possessed the potential of the byakugan were shunned.
Unable to accept the failure of his child, Hanzo's father could only see him as trash. The boy was beaten daily and kept a secret with the political power his father possessed. Hanzo was tortured and abused under the orders of his father in hopes that he would at least unlock the red eyes of the Uchiha through despair, yet even that he could not accomplish. And so he had been labeled less than trash. To his father, he was nothing. Though even with his life spent in complete darkness, there was still a faint glimmer of hope. Though as much as his father wanted to dispose of him, Hanzo’s mother— Hanabi— would be the only source of light within his life. She— and the love Heihachi possessed for her— had been the only remaining reason Hanzo was still allowed to remain within the family.
Through his mother he would learn the art of the Hyuga’s taijutsu, though the lack of an actual byakugan made it nearly impossible for him to ever excel. As his training continued it became more and more apparent that he would never amount to much without the famed dojutsu of his clan. And so his mother decided on the ultimate sacrifice. Undergoing a procedure that would have allowed the transfer of her eyes to her son, Hanabi would meet her demise. Through an extremely unfortunate happenstance, what was supposed to be a simple eye transplant had gone completely south. It was the last straw. Finally Heihachi’s hatred and disappointment for his son had reached a boiling point. Hanzo was exiled. Thrown like a piece of garbage off the side of a cliff, left to die.
Fate was cruel, yet it was not finished with the discarded boy. As if destiny Hanzo would survive the fall, awakening in the faraway land of Mizu no Kuni. A new chance at life had been given to him from the same gods that had cursed him, and this time he would not squander the opportunity of life. With nothing to his name in a land he unknown to him only one thing fuelled his survival… wrath. One day he would return to Konoha and rain down vengeance upon the Hyuga clan and his father, but until then he would grow in strength. The next decade would be spent biding his time, gaining power and knowledge as a shinobi of Kirigakure by day and a criminal by night.
No one. Nothing. Mū.
Personality:
Mū is an individual of two completely opposite sides. The first is a polite, soft-spoken, and hard working intellectual. He rarely shows any sign of distress or anger always calm and mindful. Mū initially appears to be a very kind and respectful individual. However, all of it is nothing more than a mask to disguise his manipulative, and very dangerous nature. In truth, he cares very little for anyone but himself, and is willing to use everyone around him as pawns to achieve his goals. He is willing to stop at nothing to further his ambitions, including manipulating or killing anyone if he deems it to be necessary.
His true form, the one he shows at night, is reclusive and quiet, very rarely acknowledging others and only speaking when absolutely necessary. Most associate the reclusive nature as that of a pushover, yet those that attempt to take advantage soon find themselves either beaten to a bloody pulp, their lives left hanging on a thin thread. Having only himself for years, he has learned that only his own life is ever worth preserving and that the only person he can count on is himself. Years of torture and abuse has caused him to grow extremely distant and wary to those around hims and people in general. Like a wild animal with nothing to lose, he will fight and kill through any means necessary when his life is on the line. Though wise beyond his years, Mū’s wisdom is blinded by a hint of pride with a distinct lack of interest within those around him that he has no use for or will not further his position in life.

- Spoiler:
- Thunder bellowed from his blade, the roar of raw lightning echoing throughout the surrounding area. Like a deer caught in the headlights, the leaf shinobi failed to act in time to evade or defend against his attack. The elemental force expelled from his blade, Kitetsu, crashing violently into the enemy and tossing the foe back like she was nothing more than ragdoll. The young swordsman, not so much as skipping a single heartbeat, followed up on his attack by sprinting towards the opponent at a steady pace, using his full speed yet not overexerting himself for the myriad of battles still to come. The black coat once rested on his shoulders strayed to the wind with his sudden acceleration past the leaf Uchiha. Kyousuke trusted his partner to deal with the man until he could make his return. He aimed to close the distance he had created between he and the opponent just as she was getting her bearings. The injured shinobi’s desperation escaped her body like the roar of a caged animal, her will taking form in the defiant words she cried out. Despite her attempt at masking the pain with her words, the heir would not be fooled. He knew better than anyone the devastation his bolt of lightning caused on her body and it became clearer as he closed the distance. Her outer skin had been burned thoroughly by his offensive jutsu, dermis exposed out in the open with blisters of red forming and though it would not be visible to his naked eyes, he knew her bones were just a touch away from crumbling into pieces, each displaced by the concussive force of his attack. It would have taken everything for her just to stand as she did and even more so to do it as she faced death, an act that would have impressed him were he not aware of the fact that it was nothing more than a bluff. It was time to end this.
Suddenly the girl motioned for a punch despite the still ten meter gap that separated the two, a clear sign that a jutsu of some sort would be in play. Reflex kicked in and his right hand took to grip Shusui’s hilt at his left hip, careful not to allow her an opportunity to retaliate with a jutsu of her own. He funneled his chakra to Shusui’s entirety, creating a seal within the blade. In one swift motion the young swordsman separated the second of his twin blades from its sheath, drawing Shusui one handed in a motion that allowed him to immediately cut into the air in front of him. The woman’s arm grew to gigantic proportions, stretching out towards his direction in what he could only guess was an attempt to take her vengeance. Just in time he expelled the seal outwards, his chakra taking on the physical shape of a five meter tall arc that collided with the hand midway through its destination. Upon contact the vortex of a seal began to devour each shred of chakra in her arm, forcing her limb to shrink and return to the normalcy it once was. The heir did not falter in his charge. He motioned Shusui to follow through with its cut, landing to his right side, whilst his other sword Kitetsu stretched out to the top of his head, ready for a downwards cut. Were it any other moment, he would have charged head first without any cover to prove his might, yet now he was fighting for more than just himself. Raiton flowed through Kitetsu’s edge producing a bright white light akin to the one he had earlier used to rally the troops, this light however was meant not to bring hope but instead bring harm to the invaders that sought to murder his people in cold blood. The light of his jutsu covered everything around him, searing the eyes of all within its range, stealing their sight and thrusting many to the unknown plains of death as the other Kumogakure soldiers began to fight back in an organized fashion.
His current enemy disabled, the Sasaki would finally close the gap with his innate speed. As he neared the foe, a blue streak of his intense chakra generated lightning would wrap both Kitetsu and Shusui to form an aura of raiton, supplementing the cutting edge of their blades with the power of his own electricity. With Kitetsu rested atop his right shoulder and Shusui held at the right side of his body, he charged at full force twin blades at the ready for the night’s first victim. No smug words would escape his lips, no proud expression to fulfill his glory, and no arrogance to cloud his clear vision. At that moment in the battlefield he was just one soldier that would fight with all his force to repel the Konohagakure troops, a lone knight that would protect his people through any means necessary. Entering the striking range of his weapons the young swordsman slashed both of his swords simultaneously. Two heavens, as one. Had he struck true the red paint of her vitality would seep away, Kitetsu opening her from left shoulder to right hip with a diagonally placed cut whilst Shusui painted her abdomen red with a bloody incision drawn horizontally just below the belly button. Whoever she was or however she had managed to continue fighting after being struck by his lightning bolt mattered not, he was an elite swordsman true to his heritage and no one escaped his blade.
