Unique Abilities:
Blazing Lion ~ For cosmetic purposes, Raiton Techniques take hold of a new flame-like shape of the face of a lion with black smoke as the mane. Mechanic wise, Sven discovered a unique ability to empower his Raiton Techniques. When casting jutsu, Sven has the option to boost either Power or Speed by 1 rank. However, when doing so the unchosen aspect takes a -1 rank lower than normal. Either aspects are capped at S rank however.
Blood Dragon ~ Sven's blood is dark as the night that screams unnatural. When using the Ketsuryugan Techniques, Sven can boost either the technique's Power or Speed by 1 rank. However, the unchosen aspect takes a -1 rank lower than normally. Both aspects are capped at S rank.
Blood Mastery ~ Using his clan's Doujutsu, Sven has achieved mastery over this power by reducing the Cost for Ketsuryugan Techniques by 1 rank. However, Non-elemental non-Ketsuryugan Ninjutsu costs 1 rank more than usual.
Nimble Sniper ~ Sven trained in both skill and ability to hold greater accuracy than he normally would be allowed. Doing so however, causes Sven's Speed to be reduced by 1 tier. This is because Sven is so focused on his shots being accurate that his movement speed is slower than normal. Boosting his Coordination by +1 tier. Cannot boost to S tier.
Hidden Radiant Lion ~ When backed into the corner and his reserves nearly depleted. Once Sven hits 30CP or lower, he has the ability to increase his Stamina by +1 tier which regains the difference in CP. Doing so lowers his Constitution by -1 tier for the remainder of the thread. Cannot boost to S tier.
Noble Allowance ~ Sven, under certain influence from his father, is granted a starting allowance of 30k Ryo. On the sad note this puts Sven under a minor debt to the Chinoike family. Meaning that Sven has a 45k debt that he must pay. Future income will have 50% of it put into this debt.
One-Handed Seal ~ Being a puppeteer required Sven to learn how to weave hand seals with just one hand. This is just so that he can effectively weave Ninjutsu into his strings in quick succession, although this ability is not limited to just his puppets. Unfortunately whenever he does so Sven's Coordination is lowered by 1 tier.
Appearance:
Sven is a little short for an adult. Standing at roughly 5'6" and appears to be average in build. His muscles are lightly defined, and his hands are noticeably soft given the fact that he mostly used Ninjutsu and Kugutsu. Sven's fingers also has faint scars like a string cut into his fingers not too long ago. His skin is lightly tan on his usual fair skin. The tan is mostly on his face, hands, and feet. A very notable feature of Sven is that he has a gouge scar coming from the bridge of his nose down to the lower left side of his cheek.
Sven's short hair remains people of snow considering how white it is with a hint of blue. His eyes are piercing ice blue that usually expresses his dignified posture with pride. Aside from the scar on his face, Sven's facial features appear flawless both in texture and color.
Sven's choice of attire usually consists of formal wear yet simple enough to take off if need be or even modified. This consists of suit jackets that might look ordinary, but they could actually be armor in disguise. Vests of intricate designs, shirts of silk, and such. Sven dresses to impress and maintain an image that he's trying to create for the Chinoike. Usually he wears something that holds the Chinoike symbol of a pentagram. However he usually replaces the head of the mountain goat with the head of the lion. Signifies who he is and representing his clan still. This however, usually comes in the form of a silver brooch whether to hold up a cloak, cape, or just to clip on his jacket. Other times Sven might put his symbol on the back of his jacket or even on the side left over his heart.
Sven rarely dresses outside of formal and fancy clothing. A headband of his village might be seen on the upper left arm with the steel plate facing outward. Something that is easy to take off as it is putting on. As for what specific clothing he wears is a bit complicated. Suffice it to say that Sven often wears silky shirts, or linen if the weather proves to be too hot for silk. A pair of slacks with a pair of leather boots that has 3 buckles on each boot. If there is armor, either he's wearing it under the clothes or the clothes is actually armor. Sven makes an effort to reveal less armor and more normal clothing.
History:
Sven is a man who was groomed into nobility. A concept that appears to be have been forgotten or at least overshadowed by Shinobi Clans. Sven's parents consists of wealthy members of society. His father, Zephyr Chinoike, was a renowned shinobi back in his younger days and is one of many reasons Sven was inspired to pursue the same profession. At some point roughly 20 years ago, two years before Sven was born, Zephyr along with his wife Aurora Chinoike established their own business as dedicated Craftsmen. Thus establishing a business in the Land of Lightning. By the time Sven was born, Zephyr and Aurora were wealthy and determined to break off from the traditional Mountain Chinoike. Zephyr sought to teach Sven the concept of chivalry, honor, and loyalty. Aurora brought lessons of kindness and compassion onto Sven. Essentially, turning Sven into a chivalrous knight of Kumogakure.
Aurora was an expert swordswoman who hails from Land of Snow. Sven learned that Aurora actually worked with a small band of mercenaries to get by. However Sven didn't follow the path of the sword as Aurora intended. Instead Zephyr influenced the boy more as the Ninjutsu was more of Sven's forte. Much like his father, Sven became a wielder of raiton as well once he enrolled into the Ninja Academy. Sven however, also wanted his fighting style to be unique. Something different than his parents were good at albeit Sven took up part of his parents' newfound profession and became a crafter of armor. More specifically, he makes it a trademark to provide armor that still blends with normal clothing. Preferably formal clothing, but Sven works around other things too. However Sven just started with this profession so his is not that great just yet.
Nevertheless, Sven picked up Kugutsu as the very idea of manipulating puppets that could achieve a variety of things is fascinating to Sven. What's more is that he mixes his puppets with Ninjutsu. Both Ketsuryugan and Raiton in particular to where Sven controls a variety of puppets with little difficulty. During the time of Genin he trained hard. While others focused on basic things such as Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or even Taijutsu. Sven focused on combining his skill assets with his element. Controlling just a single puppet is troublesome for a starting Genin. However, Sven practiced until he was comfortable with not just one puppet, but four puppets as well. Friends came easy, but as Sven found out that once trouble stirs a lot of them will throw Sven out into the wolves themselves to save their own skin. Despite this, Sven never turned a helping hand away and before he knew it Sven was helping the populace of Kumogakure. Earning people's trust and loyalty piece by piece as well as steering away from the Church.
By the time Sven entered the Chunin Exams, he was crafty in just his methods of technique, but also of how he executes them. Whether it was just a simple stun or even pin them down to where they couldn't move. Sven lost three of his puppets sadly, but his last one managed to survive albeit it still sustained damage. While not champion of Chunin Exams, he still managed to earn the rank and title of The Lionheart. A title that he wears with pride as he continued to delve into his art. Both technique and skill as he sought out connections to build up his own business albeit small compared to his parents. What he doesn't know is that both Zephyr and Aurora hope that Sven will do good as both shinobi and as a businessman. By establishing his business also expands their influence as the 'better branch of Chinoike'. Doing so often puts Sven and Vik at odds with each other despite Sven aiming to achieve his own feats. Mostly because despite Sven's good intentions for the Chinoike family, his parents still split off from traditional Chinoike and is considered to be part of a side branch.
Personality:
Dignity as a person that is iron-clad with sheer willpower and confidence just from his posture speaks of Sven. His pride is linked to Raikage, Chinoike, Zephyr+Aurora, and himself. Sven's loyalty is specifically tied to the betterment of Kumogakure and Chinoike alike. The Lion extends a helping hand to the locals whether it is by mission or out of his own good will. Sven usually doesn't hold ill intentions behind his actions, although if Sven seems certain information is irrelevant he may often keep it out of the conversation until it becomes relevant. Easier to push people into focusing on the task at hand, or so Sven believes at any rate.
Sven is open minded, compassionate, and self-driven young man. A man of honor who upholds his promise and deals to the end. However he's a bit touchy when the deal has been breached in some form and will have difficulty in trusting that individual. Depending on how severe the deal/promise was, the greater disdain Sven will have on that person. As such, in order to redeem in Sven's eyes something of equal value or greater must be done in order to regain his good graces. Sven doesn't tolerate betrayal regardless for the reasons behind it. Betrayal often is met with death, but Sven is more of an equalizer. If the betrayal involves a death of another or several. Then Sven will opt to kill the traitor. If not, then Sven will figure something out for said traitor to do.
Sven is passionate when it comes to crafting especially puppetry. The more creative that person is with their work, the more Sven becomes fascinated with their products. Whether these puppets are mere dolls compared to human sized contraptions. Or even gargantuan sized behemoths of breathing destruction. Otherwise Sven appreciates everyone's work. He's not exactly a teaching type of Jounin due to having little to no experience in that field, however he's not afraid to try his hand on it.

Sometime after slaying Sifvorrah]
"Hey Rin! What's this thing?" A cheerful voice of youth sprung up as a child, wearing traveling clothing for children, holds up in her hands a lavender-colored plant with a green stalk. Rin broke camp for the evening underneath a small canopy of oak trees. His bag set against one of these trees and was searching for something light to eat when this little girl shower him the plant. Rin's red eye shifted over to the child and only glanced at the flower before recognizing it.
"That is called a Blazing Star. They're quite common in this environment." As he went back to searching through his bag, the girl beamed as her amber eyes almost seem to sparkle. She quickly set it down and picked up another kind of flower to hold it up to him.
"What about this one?" The next flower was more on the purple side and it fanned out into multiple petals. Without looking, "That's Aster." bringing out three apples, four pieces of bread, and two strips of dried meat. Turning to the girl, Rin hands her share of the food which consists of 2 apples, 2 pieces of bread, and 1 strip of dried meat. Of course Rin gestured for the flower to be dropped, but that didn't seem to be necessary as she practically glomped the first apple.
"Easy Tsuna. We're not going to run out of food I promise." He remarked, but then again they have been traveling for quite some time now. They were maybe half a day away from reaching the Land of Fire's border. If it was just him, Rin could make that distance overnight.
"Aw c'on! e'fe 'een 'alkin 'ince 'ornin!" The little girl retorted with her mouth full of food. Rin grasped what she was trying to say, but he pretended to not.
"Try saying that without food in your mouth." Tsuna took a moment to swallow half of an apple.
"I saaaid! We've been walking since morning! Is traveling always this tiring?" She was getting smart with him now, probably from annoyance. Were all six year olds like this? Rin wondered before leaning back against the tree.
"You'll get used to it eventually. Traveling is exhausting on the body, but for now we rest until dawn." Unfortunately this girl doesn't know how to rest either as she was spending minutes over at a nearby flower garden. Hence is how she managed to acquire the Blazing Star and Aster. Her eyes were wild as they danced from thing to the next be it movement or something shiny. As Rin had quickly found out earlier since Tsuna previously attempted to steal his bow of pure platinum.
Tsuna quickly ate her food while Rin was patient with his. His eyes looking out to the East where the Land of Fire was at. Without meaning to, Rin's mind started to experience flashbacks. Back to his days in the shinobi academy, Rin remembered how he would always have trouble with conjuring up a believable clone. How each time the kids would laugh at the sight of each failure he made. Yet Rin would just laugh it off without a care in the world. When it came to training his chakra control and balance. Rin lost count of how many times he fell into the water alone. Not to mention the number of times he fell from trees and he couldn't even move up higher than 6 feet. Yet his persistence and resolve prevailed as that little boy would just get back up and try again.
"Hey Rin! What's that thing?!" Tsuna pushed against Rin's shoulder as he hadn't realized that she was even speaking to him. However there was urgency in her voice as her eyes were looking up.
"What…" The young man began to mutter before he suddenly felt a tingling heavy pressure. One that certainly made Tsuna very tense as she tightly gripped on Rin's arm. Alert, Rin swiftly picks Tsuna up from her feet. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his hip. Her jet black hair smooth as silk brushed against Rin's skin as her small horns protruding from the sides of her head lightly press against him. Standing up on his feet, Rin stepped outside of the canopy and looks up at what Tsuna was looking at. High in the sky, there was something of a bright blue with a tail. It took Rin a second to realize that is actually a comet, but he's never seen one before.
"I believe that's a comet. Although it's odd that we should see one so close to this world." Tsuna turns her head to face Rin as she was still worried.
"Then why does it feel like… like…" Tsuna struggled for the word of it that she even closed her eyes trying to summon up the word. Rin lightly chuckled before saying it.
"Compress?" The little girl opened her eyes and expressed confusion with a tilt of her head.
"Copress? What does that mean?" Rin looked up at the comet once again as the pressure from the air continues to weigh down on them.
"Com-press. It means condense pressure." Breaking up the word in parts so that it'll be easier for Tsuna to understand. She even repeated the word several times before frowning.
"Can you write it down? Also what does condense mean?" Tsuna plead as Rin patiently nodded his head in agreement.
"Condense means abridge. Abridge means shorten." The lad beat the child to the punch from asking about that question. She frowned as she was still confused about something.
"But this doesn't feel like… compress? I mean, the trees would stir from it too right?" That was a good point, Rin noticed that if the air was truly affected the trees would rustle like crazy. Perhaps even the branches be pushed down if that was the case. The only thing that Rin could think of that had this similar effect was the Kyuubi's chakra.
"Fair point. It's possible what we're feeling is actually chakra. Raw chakra from the feel of it." Then, a stir of Rin's consciousness as he felt a sinister presence from within before a monstrous voice that belonged to a giant creature.
"That is… something that I have never seen before. Yet this chakra feels like it could be equivalent to my own, but it's hard to tell from this distance." It was a bit surprising when Kurama drops in randomly into conversations. Especially when it seemed to be trivial that Kurama doesn't bother to input his comments.
