Shimiko-Raijin had crossed into the sovereign land of Fire Country. The ANBU made sure to eat and rest as she made her way through the country, still in disguise as the infamous Raijin. She was diligently looking for the Village Hidden in the Leaf. The village's precise location was still a mystery to Kumo. This was unacceptable. Konoha knew where they were but they didn't know where Konoha was. This unfortunate state of affairs was about to be remedied as the very perceptive Shimiko Chinoike would spend the next few days looking for the hidden village.

Shimiko heard a blast of fire roaring from a specific direction. The disguised ANBU turned and headed in the direction of the smoke and fire. Perhaps she would encounter a Leaf shinobi who could "help" her locate the Village Hidden in the Leaf. She sprinted off in the relevant direction to find the source of the destruction.
