The troops that Kyoji had sent arrived on the island in a timely fashion. Menza met them in front of the gates. He was in good spirits. He had received partial payment for his services and he was filled with confidence that Rin would deliver the final part of the bargain. With things going his way, he couldn't help but be filled with self-adoration and admiration over his ability to plot. He met the shinobi and gave them a short speech explaining to them where they were going and what they were doing. He then injected them with some specialty steroids that would temporarily give them the power to overcome their enemies with frightening ease.

Menza then sent them on their merry way to capture some more test subjects.

The Kiri Ninja returned with wagons full of civilians in chains. The prisoners were marched through the gates and into the research facility where Menza would conduct diabolical experiments on them. The agreement between him and the Mizukage was going quite well. None of the major villages had retaliated for the raid and none of the Minor Nations dared peep up about it. Apparently, they were afraid of some kind of Shinobi World War. Menza shrugged at the propect it was quite possible nay likely that such a war was inevitable. He would rather it not be brought to his doorstep. In either event, he'd see to the distribution of the Bijuu as planned. The blood of these civilians would be quite useful for future experiments. He didn't raid the Minor Nations for their artifacts as that might have caused a bit more consternation than he felt like dealing with at the moment. For now, this would suffice. Menza sent a letter to Shin Kazehana with instructions on what should be done next.
