Balerion landed on the Isle of Whispers and the group would be given a chance to disembark. Honiko Yoshidara led her disciples to across the island. Every now and again, attendants and acolytes of the Society would rush to her and deliver news. She nodded and gave them messages with instructions. Nikuyo spent most of his time in the pits, but had returned to the isle. Shin was off conducting research. Menza was cloaking his actions recently but was apparently on the isle at this very moment. No word from Akeno. Just as I thought..... The Society was an organization with her as the central leader but ultimately it operated more as a decentralized command-cell structure. While she had a large degree of authority, the others often resisted and did their own things. Part of her job was knowing when to push and when to give them leeway. Her Master's advice had been invaluable in that respect.
Honiko also learned that money had been wired into the organization's coffers by a series of shell accounts. All of them connected to Merryweather. The woman was a deviant but she upheld her end of the bargain. Honiko had already rested and gotten cleaned up on the way there. Time was of the essence and so she wanted to organize a meeting with her Sensei as soon as possible.
"Raijin, wait at the barracks. Nozomi, with me"
Honiko would then take Nozomi to another part of the island. The part where her Master resided.
