Element McFlurry [Solo/Training]

It was late at night as rain fell upon the closed windows around Rin’s apartment. The only source of light was coming from his kitchen which was only a dim light emitting from the stove. Sitting on the bar stool is Rin in a focused state of mind. Laying open before him on the counter surface is a thick book of bound leather that has information about advanced sealing techniques. The page that he was reading and comprehending explains the usages of the Five Elements Seal. It was one of the things that could easily eliminate the risk of his opponent unleashing ninjutsu on the fly, and it would help limit the Jinchuriki’s connection to the Bijuu’s power. Otherwise it is a good seal to detain people since apparently it knocks the opponent out.

I wonder… Could this work against Bijuu as well? To what degree? Would they be able to resist it to some point? Rin pondered to himself as he wish this book would give answers to these questions. However the pages only describe what the seal is, how it works, and how to execute it. The only way he can see it working or rather proven the theory is by doing it himself. In which case he’ll need to find a Bijuu, but that’s a difficult task on its own and he knows for a fact Masuyo would never agree to that. Not without taking every step of precaution along the way since Bijuu is not something to mess around with so carelessly. To which Rin personally agrees on as Bijuu were the stuff of legends, and supposedly just finding one out in the wilds is one hell of a job.

Turning the page of the book, Rin reads what combinations of fuuinjutsu writing is being put behind this seal. Memorizing them by reading the same page from top to bottom three times over. It’s not like Rin had a test subject to try this seal on to begin with, but Rin makes sure to know the technique itself. Especially since Rin can produce the seals just by touching the surface given his ability to produce ink through chakra that webs across the surface of his marble counter.

Learned Five Elements Seal (382/250)

After learning what he can from this book, Rin closed it with a light thud and gently slide it to the side. Reaching down to the right side leaning against his bar stool is his trusty backpack. The main pocket was already opened so Rin just reached in and retrieved another book from it. Now this one was going to be interesting as this book gives details about fuuton techniques. Rin lost count how many times people mock the element, and while fire was the obvious winner in terms of element advantage Rin usually made them think twice. The young Chunin took the time to scan through the pages until he came upon the one technique Rin knew of. However to see the text of it was something different.

Basically it was done by focusing an intense amount of fuuton chakra into one small point. In this case it was the fingertips of one hand like a blade of wind. Hence the name of the technique. Rin would practice it here, but technically using ninjutsu especially of this caliber is prohibited outside of the Training Grounds. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem even for Rin to get by, but with this pesky sensory field always up it was hard to do ninjutsu without getting caught in the process. Granted Rin did think about making an enchantment to shroud his apartment from the sensory shinobi, but then that would be extremely obvious that something is up and more than likely will be asked to take it down later on.

So instead Rin practiced the motions that would normally be required to use this technique. Which is literally just focusing the wind chakra to extend from the tips of his fingers and treat it like a blade of its own. It was quite simple or so Rin thought, but as he thought about the sheer concentration to form such thing and then do physical tasks including movement and striking. It would make sense that if handled carelessly the fuuton chakra within the arm could shred everything internally on that arm. So it is best to handle with care Rin decided.

Learned Blade of Wind (352/250)

A sigh escapes from his lips as Rin leans back as his eyes looks up from the book. Reading and acquiring knowledge is one thing, but actually doing it is something completely different. Rin’s mind was still wide awake even though it was around midnight. The question is, how does he plan to practice when it is prohibited to practice such high level of Ninjutsu in addition to not allowed use of ninjutsu in general? Simple.

”Screw it. Not like i’m going to get any sleep with my thoughts running like it is now.” Rin got up and grabbed his coat that had a hood. Turning the stove light off, Rin walks out of his apartment as he locked the door before closing and pulling his hood over his head. Then the young Uchiha made his way over to the biggest training ground they had. For this technique that Rin has been pondering over for months could have some nasty effects depending on how it responds in reality.

When Rin arrives at the large training ground as the white noise of rain drizzling down on the earth and trees. It was a good sized clearing Rin wagered as he looks up at the night's sky. There was no stars or moon that his eyes could see. Just the pure void of darkness as beads of water showers on his face. Extending his hand in front of him with his finger curled like he's holding onto something. With small surge of chakra to unseal only a portion of the seal, Rin manifests what appears to be a chokuto of senju hilt and a blade holding a vibrant green color of jade.

The scabbard kept the jade blade covered from the rain, but that's fine in Rin's mind. Taking a deep breath as his extended right hand was holding the sheathed chokuto by the scabbard just below the tsuba. Rin took a moment to mix the chakra within him with fuuton chakra. Then flowing from the core of his body through his right arm coats the whole chokuto, scabbard included, in a veil of chakra that glows in a pale blue light. Winds begin to accelerate as it seems to spin around Rin's body as his clothes writhe and his hood is blown down. The rain accelerated as well as each drop smacks against his skin and clothes with increased velocity. Seconds passed as Rin continued to flow the chakra through his chokuto and the fuuton chakra sealed within the chokuto only seems to intensify that threatens to launch the blade. Rin had to place a firm hand on the hilt to keep it from flying out, until finally when it felt like Rin had poured enough chakra. The young Chunin drew his chokuto free from the scabbard, and the instant he did strong condense wind chakra spills out and as he unsheathes the blade it creates a large arc in a vertical angle to be launched forward from the scabbard and it was formed into an arc by the motion of the chokuto.

This mighty arc is one condensed wind blade that is 50 meters in length and 1 meter thick. It lightly digs into the soil as it cleaves through multiple senju trees that collapses onto the ground. However what Rin didn't anticipate is that this blade of fuuton chakra will travel as far as 500 meters out considering that it clashes against a small mountain and creates a small scale fissure that goes in 50 meters deep, roughly 50 meters long not including the cracked surface, and about a meter wide from Rin can see from this distance. Rin jumped to the tallest part of the nearest senju tree to see that fissure he created, and not mention it is quite bright out here. Meaning that it is not nearly complete darkness, and when Rin looked up to the sky he immediately sees that the dark clouds that was once shrouding over the land's surface now has a large hole that is filled with twinkling stars and the near full moon shining its pale blue light upon Konohagakure.

”Erm… i hope no one will get mad at that later on.” Rin Uchiha muttered to himself as he stretches his arms out with the jade chokuto still in his hand while the scabbard is in his other. Still Rin stowed the blade into the scabbard and with a brief flash of soft golden light Rin seals the sword back into the seal on his right wrist. Then he spends some time trying to clear up some of the fallen trees before returning home for the night.
