Fated Encounter [Balerion/Society/Kumo]

The air itself felt like it was heavily pressing down on Rin’s shoulders as the sheer heat brushes against his face. Rin’s expression hardened as his eyes immediately look up at the source and sure enough there was a rather large scaly beast with wings spewing fire from its maw. Though Rin has never seen a dragon in person, but based on the description about dragons being the instruments of chakra roughly matched to what Rin is seeing now. The fun part? Rin can see even from the main plaza that there was four figures on the dragon’s back, one of them was sitting on the dragon’s head in a lotus position generally used for meditating. They flew over Kumogakure and immediately made their way over to one particular building.

“By Hakkun, that’s a dragon!” One of the citizens exclaimed as there was a mixture of fear and awe in everyone’s face. Well, perhaps to Rin’s eyes as he seems to not tremble from the sight of it. “It seems that we have guests Rei. Just for safety sake go find Yui and stay with her. I shall return shortly.” Rin tells his companion and not leaving room for argument Rin leaves the area towards the dragon’s location. He didn’t need to sense for the dragon as his senses were keen enough with his surroundings to find it. So Rin kept his chakra suppressed while walking through the streets.

Rin’s approach wasn’t fast, but despite the panicked people in the city Rin made short work of arriving at Balerion’s location. The dragon was hard to miss since he was sitting on a building. Rin scaled up on a building adjacent to Balerion with little effort and without use of chakra to magnetize his feet. Just various parkour stunts and climbing up along the wall. Totally normal. Anyways Rin climbs up to the building’s roof and takes a moment to dust himself off while walking towards the center. His eyes catch sight of a single person on a roof nearby that Rin recognized was sitting on the dragon’s head previously and made a greeting wave at her direction. Having no clue as to who it was.

“Well that was quite an entrance you’ve made.” Rin spoke up to the dragon before turning his eyes towards the three nameless people on the dragon’s back. “Greetings to you three as well. If you four don’t mind me asking, but what are your names? And yes I’m talking to you too.” Rin said the last piece towards the dragon specifically. Right now his interest is definitely peaked since this would mark about the second time a dragon made its appearance. Then again Rin doubts the one in the Land of Grass is the same one standing in front of him, but who knows. Eventually he’ll make his way over that land after this mission, and the more Rin can learn from a dragon the better. “Of course, i’ll introduce myself as well. My name is Rin Tohsaka Uchiha.”

Chakra Suppressed

Balerion wanted nothing more but to rest on the rooftop but given Akame's arrival it looked like that was not going to happen. The dragon was arrogant and proud enough to think that he could enter into an enemy village and laze about until the action started. Unfortunately, if Honiko caught him slacking off while she was in the presence of what looked like to be an ANBU there'd be hell to pay from both her and C. The dragon remained in a fixed position ready to take off at a moment's notice. The dragon's stomach rumbled as it primed itself expel fire at a moment's notice. Balerion noticed out of the corner of his peripheral vision that he was being joined by a young shinobi. The ninja was standing on a nearby rooftop and was speaking directly to him. It was a rare thing that ninja addressed summons but then again Balerion was not your average summon. It touched his ego a bit that Rin wanted to speak to him directly but he acted as though it happened all the time. Without taking his eyes off the building that his master was on, the dragon answered Rin in a gruff tone. The massive black dragon licked its snout as it considered the boy's words. The beast's voice sounding low and demonic as he uttered the words:

"Balerion" he replied.

So it was that the dragon could speak their tongue as Rin discovers. The question is if all dragons were capable of communicating with humans or was it just Balerion? With a low and deep voice the dragon announced his name as Rin can feel the invisible sound waves rumble along his own skin. By all rights the dragon was truly frightening, but Rin’s resolve and confidence overrules the spike of fear within his mind.

“Balerion… It has a nice ring to it, and it holds a dialect that I’m unfamiliar with. Does it have an origin or was it crafted specifically for you?” A harmless question on Rin’s side and his words didn’t hold an inkling of a lie. He was genuinely curious about Balerion as in truth this was Rin’s first dragon sighting.

Rin's small talk was either nerves or an attempt to distract Balerion from the events unfolding on the Raikage's Building. The dragon shifted his position and flapped his wings. The generated current would be enough to knock back an untrained ninja and he was curious to how Rin would react to the sudden movement. The genin asked about the origin of his name and to this question the beast turned to him and snorted expelling dust and soot in the boy's face.

"If this is some half-hearted attempt at distraction boy...you must be new to the shinobi world"

The gust of wind from a single flap of the dragon's wings would slam onto Rin's being. With one foot strategically placed behind him for brace and lowered his stance Rin did not budge from his spot. When Balerion turned towards Rin after asking the origin of his name. Suddenly Rin is greeted with dust and snoot to which Rin decided that was enough it. As the cloud of dust was reaching over him Balerion would feel a gust of wind coming from Rin's body as the dust is immediately pushed back along whatever else was in there. The wind was harmless, but the stuff that Balerion sent was essentially deflected without Rin moving. However if the dragon has sensory he would note that Rin is no longer suppressed.

“I do not mean to be a distraction Balerion. I'm just trying to hold a conversation with you. Frankly i've been in this world for quite a few years now.” Rin would shift his eyes over at Honiko's direction and noted that there were more people arriving. One of which seems to be very serious and from the body language quite aggressive too.

“Seems like your mistress has some company. So i can see how i am being a distraction. I guess i'll ask one more question in hopes you'll answer.” Rin took a moment to weigh his words carefully.

“What would be your suggestion on how to best another dragon in combat?” His voice has been rather calm throughout the encounter. So far Rin felt like he was respectable enough, but then again a dragon is not going to tell a human how to fight against their own kin. However Rin feels that he is pressed for time, and he can't delay the question any further than he already has.

Used Passing Typhoon

Rin held his ground and even countered with a passing wind of his own. His refusal to back down and flee in the face of a dragon's ire seemed to be evidence that he was not as green as his questions implied. Balerion was willing to extend a modicum of respect to the boy as he had a bit of grit under him. Rin said that he was not here to distract and only had one more question for him to which Balerion grunted. Rin asked for advice on how to defeat another dragon on combat which elicited a demonic chuckle from the proud dragon. Rin wanted Balerion to reveal the secrets of his clan presumably against the wishes of his summoner Honiko. Rin was certainly bold but he was beginning to wonder if the boy was also stupid. They were perhaps moments away from a violent confrontation and while Rin was no Kumo-Nin judging by his last name there was little chance that he'd support a notorious terrorist group. The line of thought did stick out to Balerion though. What if he could turn Rin into a potential ally by dangling the secrets of his kin in front of the boy's face. If he were able to convince Rin to fight on his behalf it would be less troublesome than fighting him directly if Kumo and the Society came to blows. He was confident he could beat the Uchiha but being as lazy as he was this seemed like the path of least resistance. There was the question of course of how Honiko would take him giving up vital information about the Society but he could deal with that later. A few tips on fighting dragons didn't mean all that much compared to what Rin could provide them.

"Hmph" Balerion's eyes narrowed on the Raikage building as he spoke. "Advice on how to defeat one of my brothers? That's information I only give out to my allies...Perhaps if you were to fight on the side of the Society in the event of a conflict I might be persuaded to give you counsel on that subject. If you were to gather information on our behalf and do a favor or two you might earn more than just some advice Uchiha. You are from Konoha....these mountain fleas mean nothing to you. If your actions harm them then it could only be the benefit of your home territory and of course to yourself by earning my respect"

If there was one thing about Rin is that he’ll respect a commoner with equivalent value as he demonstrated to Balerion. However one thing he won’t be having any is being spit on which is what the dragon was virtually doing. Still Rin cast that wind with little effort from his end. However Rin did not come here to start fights if he can help it. Rin crossed his arms over his chest as Balerion chuckled at Rin’s question. No doubt it was ludicrous to ask a dragon how to defeat one of their own kin. But if anyone had solid advice on this subject it’ll be Balerion. Frankly Rin is just hunting for one target, and the more information about his target the better Rin will perform to say the least.

Rin isn’t certain that this information would give any hints towards the Society, but frankly if they have the knowledge then Rin doesn’t see the harm in trying to learn from the Society. The Uchiha noticed that Balerion was narrowing his eyes and followed the line of sight towards the building as there is a pair that is practically identical to body structure and height while a third one arrives. From the sounds of it the third person is trying to quell the situation, while the person with white hair seems to not be worried. What Balerion was telling Rin was basically aid them in the event of a conflict to get the information. As well as something else if he was to gather intelligence and perhaps a favor or two.

To be honest Rin can’t say that if he was to aid them, as no doubt Balerion is suggesting in the event that talk with his mistress goes downhill or perhaps in the near future, it would result on Rin going against Kumo. Frankly that’ll imply that Konoha is in league with the Society. Though originally Rin was to suppose to gain intel about a particular person who betrayed Kumogakure two years ago, however he could possibly gain more information as to whom this person is working for. Of course, Rin is aware that everything has a price, and while Rin is perceptive enough to see that he is mainly being used as possible cannon fodder Rin can aid them in other ways.

“Very well then, what is it that you seek Balerion?” To be frank Rin always has the option of just walking away from all of this. The Uchiha may not be certain he could hold off the most experienced shinobi, but he could always buy them time. However that may or may not come to pass as attempts are being made at Honiko's side to calm the tension. So Rin opted to find out what sort of information Balerion needs.

Balerion sniffed the air as if confirming his suspicions about something. A woman was approaching Honiko and speaking quite authoritatively. It appeared that this was the Raikage and once she had arrived on the scene Honiko began to rattle off her propositions (although judging from her tone and body language one would think they were demands). The great black dragon spoke as he continued sniffing the air.

"This city is saturated with pollutants. Find the source. My guess is some kind of manufacturing facility for weapons or goods. It clouds the upper skies and offends my nostrils. Identify where they are and who owns them. To generate this much pollution you would need a great deal many machineries. Anyone in the military or government with the money to create such things is of interest to the Society......I also need you to find where this village's resources are, the general structure of the village including points of interests, and of course where the Raikage rests her pretty little head at night"

Balerion laughed in a lazy and bemused fashion.

"These are dangerous kernels of information boy but if you bring me as much as you can and it proves useful well then you have more coming to you then mere hints on how to defeat a dragon. My liege is the Sage of Dragons and she commands us but we do have our limits. We will not accept a Cursed One or a Demon-lair as her disciple. You perhaps? Hmph. We've had scrawnier Dragon Sages in the past"

Honiko would probably be pissed that he offered such terms without her leave but he was certain C would be fine with it. Honiko had dragged her feet on finding an apprentice after C had rejected Nozomi and Raijin from consideration. She'd balk at someone outside of the Society receiving the blessing but if Balerion could make this young Rin an associate and ally then perhaps he'd be a suitable candidate. An Uchiha, bold and without fear of his kind, clearly not enough fear to avoid picking fights with other members of his species. Yes, if he proved his worth by completing these tasks then he would not make a bad candidate.

Up until now, Nozomi had been more or less silent, simply watching over Honiko from a distance, sitting on Balerion's back while he talked to the boy. She figured if the guy started anything , Balerion was more than equipped to deal with it, but that she was duty bound to fight by Honiko's side if she were to get into a fight.

And judging by the posse of Kumo nin (disappointingly not Ryuko) who were gathering, a fight may be on hands. For now it wasn't anything, but Nozomi felt a restlessness inside her at the sight of Akame. It wasn't her own feeling, but she couldn't place it. The feeling doubled when Nariko showed up.

An interesting turn up of people, the Raikage was of definite interest to Nozomi, who wanted to watch the interaction between Honiko and a Kage. Perhaps she would get to witness a high level fight, and prove that the might of the Society was unmatched.

She was, however, paying attention to Balerion and Rin's conversation and she made it known. Standing up, Nozomi took a couple of steps to the side of Balerion, and slid down his side. She walked up to Rin, wordlessly looking him up and down, sizing him up up close. She wasn't particularly impressed, but then again, people usually weren't with her either.

Switching her attention to Balerion, Nozomi spun on her heel and pointed a finger at him. "Who are you to offer a deal such as that without Honiko's involvement? And frankly, you have no say in whether or not I am Honiko's disciple. She recruited me specifically because of the 3 tailed beast, and Isobu hasn't even been an issue in 2 years."

She scoffed and turned, flipping her hair, eyes back on Honiko. "Besides, your questions aren't even that hard to figure out. I could do all of them no problem. I'm sure Ryuko would even freely tell me half the shit you want to know, without making deals with some outsider we dont even know."

She wasn't afraid of Balerion, hadn't been in a long time. He talked a mean talk, but he wasn't dangerous to her. He couldn't be. Not without Honiko's say so. And then, Nozomi had trained to a degree that she could easily fight a Dragon if she needed to.

Well if Rin hadn’t known any better he would have assumed that Balerion was throwing him a bone. Still a lot was being said as he noted that Balerion wanted Rin to find the source of the pollution and who owns them. Based on what the dragon was saying it probably was a factory of sorts. Finding the village’s resources, general layout of the village, and acquire the location of the raikage’s place where she sleeps at night. That was certainly a tall order, but at the very least he only needs to bring useful information. “It’ll take time, but it can be done.”

There was mention of the dragon’s liege that he gave the name, a title Rin assumes, Sage of Dragons. Female from Balerion’s choice of pronoun who commands them. Then Balerion spoke of how there was limits , two of which were Cursed-One and Demon-lair as the sage’s disciples that weren’t capable. Or at least that’s what insight Rin had gathered from Balerion’s words. Then Balerion spoke of Rin, and technically it wasn’t a flat no so it was possible Rin could become a disciple to this Sage of Dragons. A brow raised in a bit of amazement really as he never really considered himself to be anything but just a Konoha shinobi. Dragon Sages was a term that Rin kept additional note of as well.

To be frank Rin stood at 5’7” with a bit of a muscular build similar to what one would expect from an athlete. Not too bulky on muscle mass, nor too skinny as Rin attained the perfect balance. Despite his appearance though Rin is still young. Like a fourteen year old young. Though would anyone truly guess it on their first shot? His fiance certainly didn’t seem to notice or at least she didn’t seem to care.

Sliding down from the side of Balerion was one of the passengers that has been very quiet throughout the conversation. She was a few inches shorter Rin realized, but from what Rin was gathering she held an analyzing stare that told him that he was being sized up. In some people’s minds they would’ve put up a front that they’re intimidating and all that. However those same people generally are all bark and no bite most of the time. So Rin is just himself which to be fair wasn’t all the impressive on purpose. So whatever she found was exactly as her expression told. Unimpressed.

Without saying a word to Rin, Nozomi turned on her heel, blonde hair flowing with her movement as she turned her attention towards Balerion with a pointed finger at his direction. She didn’t seem to be taken kindly on that fact that Balerion was making an offer without Honiko’s supervision. A name that Rin will be certain to remember. Frankly Rin sort of hit the jackpot on information since he wagered that their leader would keep a very tight lip on anything. But would her disciples be the same? There was a particular name that stood out like a sore thumb as it was a name that Rin researched before yet came up empty other than it was some kind of summon. A summon no one apparently knew anything about.

“Isobu… Oh that explains why isobu didn’t come when he tried to summon it.” Rin spoke as he now has somewhat of an image. Isobu apparently is the name of the three tails, one that this girl happens to be serving as a vessel apparently hence the term Balerion used as Demon-Lair. His hazel blue-green eyes shifted towards Nozomi for a moment as she continued to speak towards Balerion. Speaking in confidence that she could beat the dragon if she wanted to. There certainly was a fire burning inside of her, or perhaps she had taken offense to what Balerion said? Either way she wasn’t having any of it.

Rin knows enough when to say something and when not to. Currently in a sense Balerion just got told to shut the hell up and that this girl could get it done at least twice as fast. The Uchiha was certainly curious on if Nozomi could actually pull that off, and the name Ryuko was someone he’ll need to remember. Apparently this Ryuko was well versed in half of the stuff Balerion listed, so Rin wagers that this Ryuko is at least high standing in rank or just very informative. Most of the time, as Rin found out two years ago, it is best to just sit back for a moment and observe the surroundings and simply not say anything. Sometimes, people would give Rin the information without him uttering a single word.

Balerion could feel Nozomi slide off of him to get a better gauge of Rin. The drama was amusing but distracting. He would like to welcome such distractions given his tendency towards idleness but Honiko would skin him alive if he wasn't prepared to fight at a moment's notice. And so he resolved to temper the flames he'd add to their fires. Nozomi looked Rin up and down before turning towards Balerion and trying to tell him off. The dragon gave a guttural laugh in response before saying:

"You are Honiko's disciple as a member of the Society yes but you will never succeed her as Dragon Sage, Demon-lair. Whatever rubbish my summoner sees fit to train is not my business however a pact was made when she signed her contract with us. She promised us an apprentice should she ever fall in battle and she has yet to deliver one."

Balerion suppressed a yawn. He opted to prepare a technique instead. He didn't like airing out family laundry before a battle but he found Nozomi tiresome so he'd risk Honiko's wrath just to irk her student.

"Truth be told, Honiko was going to make Raijin the Dragon Sage. She put his name forth before she did yours. It didn't matter as he we rejected both of you. My father and I did find it a bit amusing that you were her second choice....If you think the questions are easy to find the answer to by consulting that bedwench of yours then so be it but for all your pretensions Demon-lair I do not question your loyalty to Honiko-sama. I am giving this young fellow here a chance to build trust with the Society and my kin. This task may be easy...it may not be easy...either way if he delivers then it is one more ally in our pocket."

Nozomi would probably be fuming mad at this point and judging by the way things were looking on the rooftop they needed to be a unit.

"I'd save your anger for later though" he gestured his head in the direction of the rooftop while keeping his eyes fixed on the building. "Honiko-sama may need our assistance at a moment's notice and she would not want us to dally or in-fight. If what I have said stirs that monster in your belly Demon-lair I'd channel your anger towards our potential enemies. Your valor in combat may perhaps prove us wrong yet, Demon-lair." he said with a chuckle before addressing Rin. "As for you Uchiha...a time is coming.....soon I think......where we may have need of you. You must decide if you will die as a mediocre man or live as the Sage of Dragons"


Technique Prepared

Nozomi's first thought on Rin's comment was one of confusion. Someone had tried to summon Isobu? She thought back to a time a couple years ago, when she'd had the Five Element Seal still applied. She could vaguely recall there was a moment when she felt like there were fishhooks in her skin, a minor annoyance, but then the pressure faded away. She had assumed it was the 3 Tails trying to break out, but perhaps it was not so. "Isobu is mine and I am his. Nobody else's." she would say simply, before having shifted her attention to Balerion to have her conversation as previously stated.

Her fury grew at Balerion as he spoke, her eyes widening and her hands clenching. Not at the promise of the apprentice, that much was fine. She didn't care that Balerion said she wouldn't succeed her as the Dragon Sage, it wasn't something she had aspired to. Her anger was directed at Balerion for delivering a moment of truth.

Raijin was Honiko's first choice to be her true apprentice? To pass down the gift of Dragon Sage? Nozomi couldn't believe it. There had not been a single moment in time when Raijin had ever come close to her potential. Even now, he was arguably weaker than or on par with her at the moment of her own recruitment into the Society. He had gotten lucky up until now. Even with all his might directed at her, Nozomi wouldn't even need to go beyond her base level to beat him. Honiko, for all the power she had, would need Sage mode to compete with Nozomi physically.

Her glare shifted to Raijin, down to Balerion, and then to Honiko herself. Still, she had to think there was a reason for it, and as Balerion told her to save her anger for later, she found herself agreeing. There would be time for a confrontation about that later. Perhaps Honiko knew Raijin needed something to make him a truly viable threat. There had to be some sort of reason behind her choice.

It took her a moment to settle down, but there was another force churning inside her. Isobu was not pleased, although this was directed at Nozomi. "You think you should be a sage? You don't need any other power to defend yourself than me and yourself. Relying on dragons for power?"

Nozomi replied under her breath, silently. "No, I only rely on my own power. That's not why I'm mad. We'll talk about this later." she said. "Hmph. Without me, you'd have died two years ago. Remember that. Your power isn't all encompassing little one. You owe me." "That was two years ago. I won't let it happen like that again." she said, equally as softly, concentrating on Honiko and the rest of the group.

A few clones disappeared, and Nozomi watched on with interest, next to Balerion. "Perhaps, kid, you might be of use to the Society. Balerion is right, that's a fair enough test. If you fail it, I can complete it, so do your best I suppose. Just remember that it is better to be our ally than our enemy. Loyalty is rewarded, and betrayal is swiftly punished."

At this point Rin is pondering why the dragon was getting his own ally riled up. It was one thing of laying out the truth as Rin assumed it to be, but it was the intent behind it that made Rin secretly wary of Balerion. The Uchiha held his empty hands up after Nozomi spoke of Isobu was hers as she was his. “I wasn’t the one who tried summoning him, and the one who attempted to is long dead.” Lowering his hands back down to his sides, Rin listened to what each of them were saying. Frankly he doesn’t know the full story behind it all, but he makes note that Honiko made a deal with the dragons by delivering an apprentice. According to Balerion however, Honiko has failed to deliver just that. Which to be honest it is quite surprising, but from the sounds of it the dragons as a whole are rather picky on who becomes their sage.

Frankly Rin had no place to step into this conversation, and even if he did any word from him would probably set off some flames. Especially after he had just arrived as an unknown asset to them. Still if he’s to acquire the information that he’ll no doubt need for his hunt, then Rin may have to resort to doing their bidding for now. Plus a little observation of Balerion in combat would suffice as well, or at least it’ll give Rin some ideas of how the dragon moves, what tactics he uses, and note any weak points that he could make note of. From the looks of things, a conflict may happen very soon. Both Balerion and Nozomi were in agreement that if Rin helps the Society then he’ll be rewarded in some form.

As much as Rin wanted to keep this simple, having allies can never hurt until those same allies stabs him in the back or in some cases leaves him behind with a powerful entity to deal with. Finding the source of these factories sound simple enough, as for finding who owns those factories Rin wagers to finding something like a records room or some selected area meant to kept records of deeds. Rin hopes he can just find concrete answers near the factories because usually places that are meant to keep records are often guarded. However… if a fight was to occur, then perhaps the defense would be light since just about everyone would be focused on protecting their kage. An accurate map of the village would also be kept there or so Rin believes. As well as finding anyone in importance, so really seeking out a place like that would cover lots of the stuff Balerion requested.

“Well if a fight breaks out here it’ll make my job a lot easier…” Rin spoke in a low voice as he looked back over at the Raikage building. Tension was so thick that it probably could snap if a finger was to twitch. Whatever happens, Rin would have to react to the situation fast. Still Rin forms the clone seal to conjure a shadow clone next to him, and with an plan already in mind the clone and Rin removed the headband from their foreheads and tucked them away in their hip pouches. Then the shadow clone departs from the building and descends down to the ground level.

Balerion grinned at Nozomi's reaction. He had stirred the pot. Honiko would be furious of course but he was confident that she would need to restrain herself. She had already delayed on her end of the bargain and C was growing restless. Their partnership is what made the Society so formidable and Honiko was on the verge of jeopardizing that by failing to take on a suitable and worthy apprentice. If Nozomi complained about what Balerion had said he'd be able to confidently say that he was acting in the best interests of his father. This Rin Uchiha's arrival could have been part of the divine providence that she was always preaching about. Nozomi did appear to take his words to heart though and rather than trying to fight him she agreed with him. She spoke to herself for a bit (probably receiving counsel from her demon) and then turned to give Rin some warning. Balerion found himself nodding in agreement both at her words and Rin's response. He did not fail to note that someone had tried to summon Isobu away from Nozomi, someone that Rin knew. It sounded more like the Society's shenanigans which Balerion found to be overly complex and idealistic. He mentally shurgged noting that his opinion on the subject was of little value to the people who mattered. He was lazy but he had a reputation to uphold and so for now his main focus was on doing his job and potentially turn Rin into an ally of the Society.

As the Uchiha watched the events unfolding at the Raikage Building, judging from the shift of the body languages Rin assumes that the need to be on alert has come past. With the jounin tournament coming up, Rin needed to prepare and he can be gathering information while he's preparing. Rin has been meaning to do that anyways on his spare time, but Balerion and Nozomi gave him a priority. He's not certain how much time he has before they start demanding for answers, so at the very least obtaining some of these information they requested would be best. Best to stay safe than sorry before the tournament ends, and to this end Rin might have to pull himself out of the bracket on purpose so he can focus on this task.

So with a turn on his heel, Rin faced towards Balerion, Nozomi, Raijin, and the Kaguya before presenting a formal bow like he's practiced it a dozen times before. “Well it seems the matter has resolved for the better. I'll take my leave for now, and next we meet i'll give you what i find out.” Unless something disrupts him from leaving, Rin will make his exit from the area by leaping back towards another rooftop and begins making his way over to Fuyuko Outlet. Nozomi nodded as Rin bowed, waving him away with a flick of her wrist. She was very indifferent towards him, and didn't particularly care one way or another what he did. She hoped he would prove himself useful, for the Society's sake, but it wasn't out of anything other than that. He could be an enemy for all she cared, she'd kill him if he tried anything against them. As he left their company, Nozomi leapt back onto Balerion.

She returned to watching Honiko's back and keeping an eye on the situation. Things didn't look to be any more tense than they had been, but nobody was attacking, so that was a good sign. It would be a dumb idea to fight Honiko here, they'd destroy the village if they fought.

Honiko would land on the top of Balerion's skull and address her disciples. "A deal has been made. We will make our base here for the remainder of the tournament" Honiko of course noted that Rin had been in the area and was now leaving. There had been something discussed here and while she was aware that a conversation had taken place, she had been too busy keeping her attention focused on the Raikage and her allies to listen in. Then tension in the air was palatable and she expected a full report on what had transpired between the Society and Rin. Honiko would tap her foot and the dragon would take flight, she directed him to the hospital where the Society would reside during its time in Kumogakure.

While they travelled, Nozomi filled Honiko in on the goings on that she had missed. Everything that was said between Balerion and Rin, herself and Balerion, and herself and Rin. She wasn't one to keep secrets from Honiko, nor had she been asked not to. Balerion more than likely knew this conversation would be reported, so Nozomi felt no need to wait on doing so.

Luckily, it seemed Honiko's negotiation had turned out alright, if not a little tense. It seemed the Raikage was smart enough to not cause an incident when one need not be started, especially in the middle of her village.
