Simple Training [Open]

The clan training grounds were adequate for secure spars without outsider influence, however its benefits stopped there. The main village simply had more funding and employees working for them, thus their training areas surpassed anything a Kaguya could achieve. It benefited Tsubaki to come down to the main village training area every once and a while to practice. She was familiar enough with the training area, having used it many times in her past before the Kaguya Clan District was constructed. She wears a pair of deep blue sandals popular among many Shinobi which is coupled with a lavender haori kimono. The kimono is secured with a blue sash secured around her waist. Beneath the kimono Tsubaki wears a light mesh shirt to provide additional coverage. Tsubaki herself is of short height among her clan, standing only 5'6 and weight 140 lbs. Just like her kin she shares a very pale, soft skin. This is coupled with sapphire eyes and pearly white hair which extends all the way down to her lower back. Although having a somewhat fit figure her endowed chest and lower body balances her out.

She would guide herself through the village, first walking to her family's old house from the district. In a familiar location her mind was easily able to make the schematics to the training area. Her goal today was to beat up a challenging Genin in a spar. It was to push herself as well as to represent her clan. She would prowl the training area, skipping along and avoiding those deemed too weak practicing the basics. Tsubaki would inevitably come across a sight, that was more or less a breath of fresh air to her. It was a young female that was no older than her. Her long, pink hair was paired with rare green eyes. Green eyes were generally a rarity to find, and even more delicate within the Kaguya clan. The majority of the member base shared blue eyes, with a minority having green. Although this woman was no kin, it was an attractive feature nonetheless. Her pale skin and pink hair was appreciative as well.

Appearances alone made Tsubaki feel comfortable around her. The Kaguya would descend from the treeline after the girl finished her display. She would land just a few meters behind the girl. "That was pretty cool. What's your name?" She offered as an ice breaker. Whoever she was, she was moderately skilled in tools. At the very least she would be an effective mid-range fighter providing some challenge to the close-range Kaguya.

Akira starts to amble on toward the trees that have the target boards posted on each of them, elevating her arm at the first one to begin plucking the senbon out from the board. As a pair of feet hit the ground some distance behind her, the pink-haired female waits for a little bit. She continues plucking the senbon free from the post as she hears the familiar voice, pausing for a moment. Bitterness starts to fill her thoughts as she whirls her head around at last, listening to her--but only partially.

Just who she expected. Not here, though. Akira bites back the first retort that comes to mind---something that would blow her cover right off the bat. As she'd told herself prior, she'd have to hold her tongue and put on a facade if she wanted to plan things undercover. So instead, she focuses on dedicating her energy to this persona she's put on. She waves her hand dismissively, shutting her eyes briefly and smirking for a moment. ".. It wasn't that good--thanks though." Akira remarks, tucking the senbon back into her backpouch.

The female starts heading to the next post, responding to the next half of her statement after that.
"Akira--Akira Sakura."

The last name was almost too befitting of her appearance--pink hair and all. None the less, it was the only name she could think of that rolled off her tongue, so she went with it as is. "You?" She inquires in return, though she already knows all too well. The real question that remained in her mind was her reason for being here. Akira was confident she hadn't caught on, but there was still a wariness.

The lady humbly played down her display of weaponry. Perhaps it was because Tsubaki had minuscule practice with throwing tools. Although her coordination was on point did not mean she was proficient in other things, such as Bukijutsu. The girl's precision was a tad bit off, but Tsubaki had no room to judge after the acrobatic display she added. She went on to introduce herself as Akira Sakura, a name she would try to remember. Fortunately her pink hair was a coincidence.

"I am Tsubaki Kaguya." She stated humbly not wanting to include the fact that she was also the clan leader at the moment. Truth be told, she was not as pretentious as others may thing. Her role as clan leader is an opportunity to do great things for the clan, which includes her goal to unify its members. Power and authority was the least of her interests. "I was wondering if you wanted to practice together. I haven't practiced in a while." Tsubaki could not exactly put her finger on the last time she trained, at least on her own. The vaguely remembered how she was assigned in a group with Alkaid and that one blacked haired girl, but her sensei was immediately picked up for a mission which left them with the Mizukage, or former Mizukage.

Beyond that her last manually conducted training session was with Yui, the deemed "outcast" of the clan. Such thoughts reminded her that she had passed away recently following a strange sickness that claimed many lives throughout the village.

Tsubaki was delighted to hear the woman accept. She grinned after hearing her acceptance, nodding positively. Though it appeared the pink haired girl had other ideas for what she would consider training. Tsubaki was used to sparring being the go-to method. At least that is what her clan has practiced. Akira offered her a bunch of senbon needles as she spoke about the terms of the training. It was a simple display of accuracy, an activity more-or-less reserved for Academy students learning how to throw ninja tools. The Kaguya did not waste their time practicing such frivolities. They fought enough to develop a strong baseline of coordination, as well as their dances being centered around footwork. Nonetheless, Tsubaki willingly accepted the challenge. It was a competition, after all. It also allowed Tsubaki to compare to a standard Kirigakure Genin in terms of accuracy.

"Very well! I'm ready when you are!" She said zealously. She ran her finger along the side of the senbon and got a feel for them. Tsubaki hardly utilized ninja tools in her own time. The gear was bulky to carry around, and greatly inferior to what she could produce on her own. Iron shattered and split like glass compared to perfected Kaguya bone. Developing a feel for the senbon she slotted them in the spaces between her fingers. They felt sleek as if they could slide out of her fingers any moment. That was ideal for using these as projectiles. She waited for the call of Akira, keeping a sideways stare on the pinkette to give the word or begin throwing before she joined in.

In a similar effort Tsubaki threw the senbon at her targets just like Akira. They both shared the same sense of accuracy. They would presumably repeat this technique several times until they improved together, or one got exponentially better. Of course the former would prevail, Tsubaki having drive to succeed and Akira the same. Despite that they would part, Tsubaki making a new acquaintance and Akira doing whatever she did. A training session well done.
