More Experimental Techniques [Training | Solo]

Yumi fluttered a pink folding fan in front of his feminine facial features as his crimson hues peered out over the top. The folding fan was made of bamboo and rice paper dyed pink with snow-covered cherry blossoms spread across it. The fan was just that a fan nothing more, it was merely in Yumi's hands for aesthetics purposes only, just for show. The medical fluttered the fan as he hummed a soft melodic tune. Those crimson hues of hers were staring dead ahead hanging from a branch was a corpse. The corpse Yumi had obtained from the morgue after 'persuading' one of the workers there to hand it over. Yumi was planning to use it for a few experiments, in order to do so, he had to make sure the corpse was fresh barely a day old.

First Yumi would have to use a little of her chakra. For that, he was going to try out a new technique, one that had popped into his head recently when he had been fiddling around with the Soft Body Manipulation and Soft Body Modification technique of his. The medic flooded his body with chakra and was soon manipulated at the genin's hand. The chakra flooded into active cells changing their composition making them malleable able to extend, soft and become flexible. The muscles in Yumi's arms became like rubber as they stretched before compacting. Yumi flicked the fan shut, putting it away and charged towards the hanging corpse, performing a simple right hook to its chest. The muscles in the genin's arms contracted and released with explosive power increasing his low-level physical strength an entire level. The tiny fist connected and sent the corpse flying back in the air before it swung back, Yumi grabbed the corpse to steady it.

Yumi cancelled the technique before it could continue draining his chakra reserves. With the first jutsu out of the way, Yumi began to focus on a Taijutsu and Ijutsu combination he had been contemplating to work alongside the Oshiken, the Pressure Fist style he created that focused on acupuncture points. This Ryousen or Remedy palm as he would call it focused on similar attributes but attacked the organs, bones, muscles and nervous system instead. Besides the main style itself, the Genin had only come up with three techniques the Bone Breaker, Muscle Tearing Palm and Kidney blow.

Pulling out of his thoughts Yumi went to work going through the motions of the Remedy Palm to quickly assault the corpse striking first at the bones of the right leg with the bone breaker technique. The corpse was someone who when alive had a weak constitution which led on to their corpses. With only three consecutive blows Yumi felt something snap under his fist. Moving on chakra channelled into the right index and middle finger before striding the right deltoid. Immediately after the first blow two more followed. on the final blow, Yumi felt something give. Yumi began to mix the two techniques Bone Breaker and Muscle Tearing Palm using fist strikes coated with chakra, followed by finger jabs or palm strikes also coated in chakra. Yumi's fists connected with multiple sections lower arm, upper arm even the right rib cage multiple times as he landed consecutive strikes. In between, he targeted the muscular structure the left deltoid, rectus abdominis and trapezius. Yumi interchanged each strike mixing it up, slender arms moving fluently like water. Each blow followed right after the first creating a long chain of consecutive strikes before the final combination was performed and multiple bones broke and muscles tore.

Yumi took a step back slowly lowering his arms panting softly. His chakra reserves had taken a bit of a drain to keep the attacks up. Each blow he released a slither of chakra into the corpse's body. Relaxing his stances Yumi took in a deep breath preparing for the third and final attack he had come up with for the Remedy palm, the kidney Blow. Moving behind the corpse, Yumi turned all attention to the right kidney, with each strike, Yumi was precise but there was a flaw using this attack on a corpse. The kidney blow should cause pain but seeing as the corpse wasn't alive it couldn't feel it. Yumi would have to give the technique a try in real combat. The entire point of the Kidney Blow was to slow cause pain in the enemy by damaging their kidneys. The pain would course through body shooting up in order to hinder their ability to fight. The pain would eventually become so excruciating they wouldn't be able to continue fighting, allowing Yumi the opportunity to finish them off.

With fix techniques out of the way, Yumi could focus on the next three, three healing type medical ninjutsu. The first was relatively simple in its nature, then again so was all three but they were incredibly complex. Yumi had been contemplating the prospects of what would happen if he was to run out of chakra in combat, it would be quite disastrous to run out of reserves in the middle of a fight. That was where this new technique came into place, while only low level it would be useful in battle not only for him but also when performed on his comrades, not that he would care much about their needs. The technique was simple, it was one designed to force the body to go into a rejuvenating state to recover stamina, to kick-start the bodies chakra regenerating abilities to recover lost chakra.

Yumi took out a senbon from his right wrist holster and twirled it between his fingers. Carefully giving his body a once over, he examined the Dadu pressure point just above the spleen. With a thrust the senbon puncture into the pressure point. Teeth were gritted to ignore the pain as the point was pressed. The moment the point was pressed Yumi could feel his chakra circulating and the reserves he had used up were being rapidly replaced, sadly with his current level of strength, less than fifty percent of his reserves were recovered, but in the middle of combat it would be enough to perform at least a few C rank jutsu or multiple D ranks to get one out of a sticky situation.

Yumi grabbed the senbon and slowly pulled it out, grabbing some gauze that he had prepared earlier and pressed it against the wound. He was wearing a deep purple Yukata today so the blood wouldn't show. Pressing firmly, Yumi began to circulate chakra to perform another technique, one designed for constant high-speed regeneration. it would only be a low-level technique capable of restoring mild injuries but would be useful in battle. Twirling the senbon needle, chakra flooded into the tip and with precise precision, Yumi lined the tip of the needle just above where the Kaimon or First Gate also known as the Gate of Opening was location, one of the first eight inner chakra gates.

Yumi without hesitation thrust the needle in, allowing it to pierce through the skin. he held back a wince of pain as the needle punctured the point just above the gate. Chakra flooded around the gate, but did not flow into it. The purpose was not to open the gate but to stimulate nearby pressure points and nerves located around the Kaimon. This stimulation would send signals to the brain and throughout the body causing the body to go into a constant state of low-level regeneration. The moment the senbon was in and removed, Yumi's body began to recover. The first puncture wound healed up instantly followed by the second.

Yumi put the senbon away and withdrew a kunai knife. Holding out a left arm, pulling down a sleeve Yumi slashed with the knife cutting lightly into her left arm making sure to cut across so not to bleed to death. The moment the knife left flesh the cut began closing up and healed, the only sign it was there was a small trail of blood. Yumi wiped the blood of clearly satisfied with his worse. Next was the Bone Restoration Ijutsu, designed to heal low-level injuries to the skeletal structure.

Yumi struck himself over the right side of his ribs with the bone breaker. Gritting teeth the genin ignored the pain as he damaged his own bones, but made sure not to break them. Once damaged Yumi's hands glowed green as he held them over the air, palms pressing against his Yukata. The ribs began repairing themselves and within seconds were as good as new.

Yumi settled down on a rock to recover his stamina. It had been an exhausting day trying out eight new Ijutsu techniques, but the day was far from over. Yumi had other techniques to test out, but they were Medical Ninjutsu, no they were Genjutsu, Illusion Techniques. The medic nin had ideas for two new Genjutsu, the first was an illusion designed to inflict panic in the target, that as they gaze onto him they would feel a fearsome aura being released from his body and would want to flee on instinct to get as far away as possible. The technique was aptly named the Aura of Panic, as it was designed to make people panic with fear and run. The second was a technique to lower the target's perception to make them more susceptible to Genjutsu, thus easier to trick. This particular technique was designed in his head to have three different triggers, the first a visual aid simply locking onto a target, the second a sound based trigger yumi would sing a harmonious tune and finally the third trigger to mould chakra into a chilli pepper bomb and throw it.

Yumi looked back at the corpse hanging from the true and clicked his teeth, he couldn't use it. Yumi needed a living target to use these new ideas on and he couldn't use himself, what was the point? He was aware that he would be in an illusion. Unlike Ninjutsu or Taijutsu which could be used on rocks or even training dummies and stumps, things like Ijutsu and Genjutsu needed a living or dead living body, living for Genjutsu. Looking around, an eyebrow was raised as a deer of all things stumblings out of the surrounding misty forest to sniff around.

Yumi smirked evilly, this would work nicely. First, he would use the Mind Deceptions Genjutsu to lower the deer's perception then hit it with the Aura of Panic. Yumi stood up drawing the deer's attention who put up its guard. Smiling softly Yumi began to hum. The medic hummed loudly as it echoed in the air travelling to the deer. The humming was soothing, gentle and almost angelic, but beneath it was a sad undertone as Yumi sung it as if possessing a deep sadness. Soon Yumi began to sing the lyrics matching the sadness that flowed out from his humming. "Soba ni itekureru, jyounetsu no sukima de sotto. Yasuragi wa itsumo higeki no saki ni mienakunaru." With every word sung, the deer listened intently looking on with big doe eyes, its ears drooping as if affected by the song.

Yumi smiled sweetly, the illusion was cast, now for the second. Locking onto the deer the animal froze as to it a dark deathly black aura was being released from Yumi's body. The fearsome aura rose up into the air taking a demonic shape. The deer's body shivered as it stepped back and quickly turned running off into the forest to get away. Snorting in amusement Yumi cancelled his jutsu and walked off heading back home his task for the day was done. He left the corpse, leaving it for someone else to deal with.
