Clan History/Description
The origama clan once was a clan that was able to use a special advanced element made of earth and wind, called origami. They were able to control paper at ranges and up close, increasing its hardness so it could match steel (or even harder, as the legends are telling), with the strongest individuals of the clan being able to even defy death as their spirit always was laying in the paper and growing themselves wings and other body parts that allowed them to perform amazing feats.
The clan was proficient in sealing techniques and its members often would take advantage from that, using their bloodline to control exploding tags that the clan produced en masse, wich in return bolsters amegakures defensive capabilites enormously, as the abundance of exploding tags was used for various traps and ranged support from Origami clan members, aiding the forces of amegakure.
With the clan originating from amegakure, they were, while not being noble in any kind of way, respected due to the service their people did to their country. It was the very same service that eventually doomed the clan.
An invading force wanted to lay siege upon Amegakure however with its abundance of paper and therefore exploding tags, siege was useless as the origami clan members always were able to bolster the destroyed defenses again, which in turn made them a target. On a fatefull day a group of anbu managed to infiltrate the compound where most of the clans people lived, worked and most importantly had their factory and supply stache. While the origami clan was by no means weak in combat, their biggest enemy was their stash of exploding paper tags. As the attacking anbu were about to be defeated and killed, they sacrificed themselfes in a united attack aiming ot the weapons room of the compound. Succeding in their goal, igniting the paper tags, this caused a massive explosion that willed the entire air with hundrets of exploding tags wich annihilated most of the clan members. The survivers spread in ever direction, in oder to shake potential enemies that were trying to finish them off for good.
With the origami clan now out of the way, the path to amegakure still was steep, but more manageable. However as amegacure prevailed, so did the clan, forming smaler families and slowly growing again. Today the clan has no more then 150 people in it, with most of them not having the Origami clans hiden.

The origami clan is seen often with dark hair colours usally and eyes that have an interesting colour of the clan members choosing. As their control over paper also extends to the colour of paper, they can eventually change their eye colour, and other paper based things at will.

Description: The shikagami dance is a technique that allows the user to slipt his body into thousands of 10x10 cm large papers at will. While he remains active in this state, no physical attacks as well as many ninjutsus can hit him or her and in case paper gets hit and actually destroyed it wont kill the user unless all of his paper is destroyed at the same time or he doesnt have any more paper to regenerate said losses (however he can still materialise with the important organs and plead for mercy as they arent in need of blood. The ability can be used on a moments notice, as it is always active, unless the user specificly states that he is in a physical form.
Drawbacks: The paper the user is splitting into has its values defined in the papers characteristics. (for example normal fire will still deal extra damage to normal paper). Wind style attacks that are one tier above the users coordination in power will be able to blow away paper that is active during the skikagami dance, forcing th euser to take tie to gether said papaer again or create paper to fill their losses. If the entire body of a origami clan member is covered in oil or adhesives they arent able to use the shikagami dance. If dance of the shikagami is active, the user has to pay the freeform manipulation cost every post and he cant fly at great heights (max 5 meters).

Description: The calmera technique makes use of the users ability to contol the papers colour, shaping it around him or her, or theri own bodies with dance of the shikagami, in a form that makes sense (like a tree) and hides the user from visual detection. For a more realistic looks can certain papers be dragged through mud or made wet so they look more authentic.
Drawbacks: The user has to stand still or must create something large enough to move inside. As the concealment is very effective it will take a post to prepare, and afterwards the user cant detected by normal means (until A-rank perception). As this technique relies on the users ability to control the paper and hold it together with chakra, any form of ability or technique that lets the user see chakra will immediately spot this technique. While the paper can even imitate the feeling of materials, the concealment is thin, meaning if it gets damaged it can be easily spotable in the same post. After 1 post it regenerates though.

Description: Paper chakra flow works in the same was as a usual chakra flow however the user can choose to infuse his paper with the emelental chakra of one of his elements. In any case it always improved either paper hardness or durability by 1 rank
Lightning: Not possible without metallic paper. If metallic paper is used: C rank raiton damage and one - to enemies coordination
Fire: Possible under certain circumstances (TBD)
Wind: B-rank wind damage and 1 tier faster flight for the paper the user can control
Water: Increases wheight of the paper and therefore damage. B rank water damage and reducing the damage bonus that fire has against paper by 1 rank (making those elements equal)
Earth: Turns the paper hard and changes colour into a deep black. Increases grade or hardness by +1 rank (so basically +2 ranks on hardness/grade or +1 rank in each.)

- Bloodline Description & Abilities:
- The members of this clan possess the ability to turn their bodies into thousands of sheets of paper using the Dance of the shikigami Technique. Please refer to that technique for a more in depth description. Every member of the Origami Clan automatically starts with knowledge of the Shikagami dance upon approval. Clan techniques of one rank higher than their intelligence would may be learned as well. They can control origami freeform for a cost of 5 cp per post in a range of 70 meters around the users body at a speed one tier lover then the users base coordination. They are able to form limbs that aid specific purposes such as wings for flight, regenerating limbs, ect... . As a further ability of this clan they can control anything including paper in an acceptable ratio (at least 80 percent paper) once they touched it and generate paper for a fixed amout of chakra should they run out of it. They can modify their paper using chemistry (as any chemist can modify compounds), and even defy death with their grand technique for huge drawbacks and limitations.
For every tier of base stamina the amount of paper a origami member can control increases by 1 ton
Origami clan members that have the origami element will never bleed out and dont need water to survive
The Origami clan counts as bloodline and therefore requires a skillpoint as well as the wind element on start.
1 ton of paper equals around 20 units of paper. Clan members start with 1 ton of paper on character creation
- Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
- The clans ability to control paper is reliant on paper being seperateable. If the paper is covered in water this doesnt effect it, however if it is covered and dretched in adhesives or or oil like substances this changes.
If oil or adhesive has a strength of 1 tier above the users base coordination, the cost to controll the affected paper is increased by 2 ranks.
If oil or adhesive has a strength of 2 tier above the users base coordination, the control of affected paper is impossible.
As a side effect of controlling paper, the papers properties define its interactions with other elements.
As another side effect of the paper its hardness is defined by the chakra cost and properties of the paper.
Furthermore no clan member will ever be able to use any sort of fire based technique, as the heat the user would generate with his chakra would make the paper uncontrollable.
If a Origami clan member ever recieves an implant, a 1 week lockout from all rp interactions happens on top of any deficits that follow because of the implanatation process.
