Clan lore
The Kaku Shometsu Clan is a clan that once was a branch of the Hozuki. Due to a marriage with a Magnet stye user this branch split off of the main clan. The Kaku Shometsu clan wandered away and slowly but steadily died off as their powers changed. Today only a few of them are remaining and those that are remaining are returning back to Kirikagure, in order to find back to their roots as an event that happened there forced them to leave. Their powers are still based on water, hoever with the m blood of their long dead ancestor they developed powers different then the main branch.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics
Members of the Kaku Shometsu clan often have a visually appealing, soft appearance. They are built slim and pale, as their body contains more wather then the usual human. They are a special and long lost branch of the Hozuki clan. As their habitat changed, so did their appearance and abilities. Having lost acess to most of the Hozuki clans abilites they developed new ones as a result of it. They carry no smell on themselfes, however fereigns smells are stronger on them then anywhere else. They are heavied then normal humans, despite their slim features. Another feature is that their bodies water is hydrogen thats taking on the properties of normal water through chakra. While any clan member having this kekkei genkai automaticly can control this without using chakra, this effect ends on death, causing the clan member to self ignite and detonate violently. They often make skilled medical nins through their ability to controll hydrogen, one of the most important elements in the human body.

The Kaku Shometsu clan has its strenght in the ability to split water into Hydrogen at will utilising their body and sereval elements in the process. Getting the ability to control thier element on atomar levels, thier clan jutsus got more specialised then the Hozuki clans. One of those feats is the ability to turn water sources (Or anything containing hydrogen) into pure hydrogen and oxygen, which can be used and "guided" together to form devastating attacks via explosions.
ADDONS:
All of these abilities may be unlocked by any Kaku Shometsu, in any order desired, so long as the appropriate costs are paid. Hydrogen generation does not cost chakra, however the techniques that use them do.
Clan members that have unlocked the 2nd stage dont need to breathe air, and can just breathe pure oxygen
Bloodline Limits and drawbacks:
While being a forgoten Hozuki clan branch, Kaku Shometsu members do not have the abilities their main clan does have.
Hydrogen attacks can be prematurely ignited by C-Rank katon attacks and C-Rank Raiton attacks

Clan members will constantly feed on water around them, even if they dont wish to do so. Occasionaly the need to feed properly on larger water masses, replenishing themselfes.
Hydrogen will eventually disperse (1/3rd per post if outside users range), meaning it will become useless, or burn out without an explosion.
Requires the user to have spend a skill point (as it counts as kekkei genkai)
Requires the user to have Suiton and Raiton at start.
Clan members basicly have no real way of defending themselves close range with this element without them hurting themselfes
While the pure hydrogen and oxygen cant be seen, anyone will notice if they stand inside a cloud of it as pure oxygen and hydrogen are both not breathable, so anyone who needs air to survive will immediately notice this.

The initial stage where a Kaku Shometsu clan member will get the ability to turn water into hydrogen, thus enablin ghim or her to utilise the clans jutsus. Gives ability to turn max 200 liters of water into pure hydrogen per post (equaling about 24 kg of pure hydrogen or 24 kg hydrogen and 176kg of oxygen) (100 meters range, clouds move at speed equal to half their coordination)

Second stage will increase the controll the user has over the atomic structure of the water, increasing this ability to create hydrogen up to 400 liters per post (or 48 kg of pure hydrogen, and
352 kg of pure oxygen). At this stage the users hydrogen gets protected from foreign ignition, and can choose to detonate only a part of thier Hydrogen. (200 meters range, clouds move at speed equal to half the users coordination)

The last stage sets the stepping stone for the Kaku Shometsu for clan members true potential. The are able to transform up to 1000 liters of water into hydrogen per post (Equaling 120 kg of pure hydrogen and 880 kg of oxygen). At this stage the users hydrogen get protected from foreign ignition. At this stage the user can move the hydrogen "clouds" at the speed of his coordination. (500 meters range, clouds move at users coordination speed)

Allows the user to use water depots underneath the surface in order to regenerate or generate Hydrogen. (Basicly removes the need for larger water bodies as underground water is basicly everywhere)

The clan members sody is becoming even more attuned to water. Blood no longer had the ususal read colour and is transparent, minor wounds will automaticly heal when near water sources and moderate wound when standing directly in water or in connection to water. Addtionally physical and heat based attacks (boil, katon, scorch, ect...) will do two ranks less damage, but make the user glow brightly in defferent shades of red, depending on the strenght of the used technique.
"Digging deep" perk counts as near a water source. Bones will still break, however the user can regenerate limbs (outside of topics)

Clarification: 1st 2 lines are the costs in hydrogen (and oxygen, however oxygen is nearl everywhere so focus here is clearly the hydrogen).
Explosion range is the range of the superheated gases, strength the damage it deals in rnaks (Katon element)
Min range and max damage are together as the center of the detonation for the shockwave and their range and damage
Max range and min damage are together as the maximum range of the shockwave and the damage inside that radius
So up to a certain point a enemy would get damage from the shockwave and the superheated gases.

Drawbacks: As it always is active, the chakra the clan memebrs body is radiating can be seen or felt all the time by the proper techniques. However they cant see what the chacra is gatering as the gathering is working on an atomic level. Gathered Hydrogen can be ignited, even if not seen (if user is under stage 2)

Description: The user creates a clone that can have any appearance he want it to have out of hydrogen and oxygen. Said clone has same stats as the user, however cant attack and cant be attacked physicly. In fact its only attack is to detonate himself after getting close enough to an enemy.
Drawbacks: Costs, Depending on how much matter it has it will become larger (max here is 10 meters in size, 4 meters in width), while this clone can have any appearnce the user wants it to have, even d rank perception can see that it is not a human.

Description: The user chooses a projectile of his liking and connects a single, powerful chakra tread onto it. One it is fired and hit its target, the string gets infused with the Hydrogen, oxygen mixture and is used as a slingshot, overcoming the range limit of the user in return for loosing the ability to control the hydrogen. The mixture, being shot at high speeds, will detonate in strength equal to the amount of hydrogen put into it on contact.
Drawbacks: Hydrogen cant be controlled when shot.

Description:
Mode 1
The user will try to force pure oxygen into the lungs of an enemy, choking him with said oxygen. If the enemy doesnt get out of range he will fall uncontious after a number of post (1 post at d rank,+ 1 post more for each tier of CON)
Mode 2
The user creates a spere with a diameter of 50 meters around him. The outer layer is formed out of oxygen, the inner one out of hydrogen. Enemies enterin this spere will immediately notice that they cant breathe. If the choose to stay, same rules apply as above.
Drawbacks: Requires stage 3, enemy needs to be in range, user needs to be able to keep track of enemy (if enemy is too fast, he can just escape while still staying in range
