Stockier of build, Hisha stands at 5’8”, making him just shy average in general but a touch on the short side compared to shinobi. Perhaps less shredded than some of his peers, his body is beautifully muscled and thick in all the right places, entirely due to his time working out on vanity muscles. This translates to him looking strong without having any especially noteworthy strength to speak of.
The man has marred much of his pale, even complexion with swathes of tattoos, much to the horror of his parents and most village elders in general. Thus, his disrobed body reveals a vast and colorful display of all manner of life aquatic. He has a sharp jaw, square face, thick neck, and jet black hair which he likes to style upward in a wild, spiky fashion while letting a few strands fall ‘casually’ into his face. His eyes are heavily slanted and a combination of a muscular defect and general laidback attitude mean that they’re always half-closed at best. When fully opened though, their hazel color is reminiscent of weak tea.
Hisha prefers to dress in a very casual fashion and dislikes nearly all forms of traditional garb, including village symbols, headbands, flack jackets, and most robes. Instead, he likes more modern looks with very fitted t-shirts, tank-tops, and patterned button-ups opened deeply to show off his body. He rarely wears full length pants unless required, and when required he complains about them as he believes his calves are his strong point.

Generally speaking, the man attempts to have a constant air of aloof coolness, though he’s a bit too fidgety and excitable to pull this off. In fact, he can be a bit of a klutz as he tends not to fully pay attention to where he’s going and he has often knocked over something important with his long, curiously delicate hands. His voice is a smooth sound between a low tenor and high baritone, but because he wishes his voice were deeper he usually tries to artificially lower it.
History:
Hisha grew up in a small but loving family to a branch of the Kurama clan as civilians in Kirigakure. His parents practiced fairly traditional lives and worked beyond the village as plain clothes laborers but worked their hardest to give him and his kid brother a better life. Life in the early village was obviously not easy for anyone, let alone for peasants, but they built a house and a life for their family and ended up owning a fairly large rice paddy in the territory surrounding the rapidly growing city.
For the bulk of Hisha’s life, he lived a charmed if plain existence. He loved the hustle and bustle of the city and frequently ventured there in his late teenage years. The various wars of stability, while hard on everyone, bypassed the family largely because they had nearly no combat training of any sort, leaving Hisha to go off on his own to rent a down-town apartment and pursue his own interests and friend groups. He had a hard time though, as living in what amounts to a glorified military base meant that civilians had very little in common with the shinobi of the village.
Thus, he eventually mustered up the courage to join the local academy. In part, anyone paying attention could have foreseen this as the paltry educational infrastructure of the village system resulted in a military education providing one of the only available pathways to advancement or higher learning. However, Hisha quickly learned that nearly all of the beautiful people in the world had some kind of military background or outright upbringing, again making him a natural fit for the path.
It did not go as planned.
He was admitted both due to the need for able bodies immediately following a protracted war effort, and the entire experience deeply disappointed him as he had failed to look into the age range of most academy students, meaning that he spent day after day as a young man in class with a bunch of people younger than his kid brother. He’d intended to spend the bulk of his time flirting and playing it cool, but instead ended up applying himself pretty wholeheartedly and ended up passing quite quickly.
It became rapidly apparent to the instructors, if not to him, that his bloodline’s prowess had manifested in him and he had an unusual - and in some cases almost impossible - affinity for genjutsu. However, he self-critically assumed that this was something any ninja could do with some practice and mostly wrote it off. In truth, the burgeoning powers of chakra spooked him and he rushed through not only to be with other people closer to his age but to spend less time ruminating on whatever it was that gave him his mind-bending powers.

In short, anyone would assume at first glance that Hisha is a himbo. He does not present as all that bright and is almost excessively chill and affable; he gets along effortlessly with everyone and fully believes in going with the flow. However, he’s curious and excitable and so takes an instant and zealous interest in other people’s passions and hobbies, but whenever he starts going overboard he tries to rein himself in as he doesn’t think it’s cool to get all worked up over silly things.
Beyond this, he possessed a rapacious intellect, though not one born of hard studies. Extremely intuitive and with a prodigious memory, he is one of those people who seems to just ‘pick up’ on whatever is currently going on. He tries to not let this nerdier side of his show, again because he thinks it isn’t cool, but also because he doesn’t like to let on that he’s anything beyond just an average guy out of a deep fear of people ostracizing him for being weird or different. So he generally acts quite a bit more obtuse and dense than he actually is as he craves acceptance from his peers.
In his free time, Hisha spends most of his time and money on various forms of records and audio equipment as he is a massive audiophile. If allowed to talk about music, he’ll ramble on endlessly with almost no regard for anyone else’s opinions. To a small degree, being constantly surrounded by noise helps to drown out the endless, low-grade babble that bubbles up from his subconscious, a piece of him which he fears deeply and would much rather ignore than actually confront.
