Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by Nozomi Tue Feb 23, 2021 11:19 pm

    NozomEi's appearance:

Nozomi was mostly covered with a dark red and black kimono, although in truth it was the Battle Kimono that she'd commissioned from Okane, simply altered in appearance by the Perfect Copy technique. A dark black tanto was tucked into the waist line of the kimono. She kept a passive sensory active as she approached the village gates, making no attempt to particularly hide herself from view.

As one of the foremost powerful shinobi in the world, the Leader of the Society, and an above average Kage in her own right, Nozomi had long since been used to going where she pleased whenever she pleased. If anyone attempted to stop her, then it would likely be their last action. The only reason she maintained the appearance of Ei was to benefit the Society for the time being, but even that wouldn't be a necessary guise for too much longer.

"Let's see what you can do."

Nozomi addressed to her Uchiha companion, the man she'd been traveling with. In all honesty, she didn't care whether he lived or died, but he'd been talking up his abilities and capabilities, assuring her he had no intention of dying, so she was content to see what the fabled Uchiha clan had to offer.

Raising her voice as she got to the gates, she addressed the village's defenders.

"I hereby claim this land under the banner of Sunagakure! Let any who would oppose my claim represent themselves!"

A smirk crept its way onto Nozomi's face as she extended out her sensory field 250 meters out from herself. Half of her chakra supply down due to Fission, and without her S rank jutsu, this might actually prove to be an interesting battle, although the other her would have returned to Sunagakure and delivered the orders by now, so she should be heading back up this way soon as well. Still, for this fight, their opponents would have a strong handicap, something interesting to Nozomi. She hadn't been hindered this much in a fight in quite some time.

She wasn't using Bijuu abilities, and for now wanted to keep her Sage abilities hidden as well, so this was the theoretically weakest she'd been since she was training with Honiko, before her debut at the Tournament.

Zenaku like most all Uchiha was dressed in almost all black, Zenaku wear's small round beads around his neck, they come to the size of large marbles and are pitch black. For his top Zenaku wears a long sleeve jacket that has a silver line that is the zipper, on the left side of the jack on his chest he has the symbol of his uchiha clan marked there. The jacket has a hood attached to it, his forums have black protector guards. He keeps the sleeves of the jacket pulled up to his elbow as he has a pair of fingerless gloves that reaches all the way to his elbow. On his right arm he has white bandages wrapped around his peck part of his arm.
Under the jacket he wears his steel mail shirt that is light weight and over that he has his light chest plate. He wears a pair of pitch black pants and a pair of high top black boots that come up to knee, he keeps his pant legs tucked into the boots.
Around his weist he has a white cloth that holds a thick blue rope which hangs out dangles by his side.

Zenaku could see the large wooden gate as the two of them walked up to it and as they did he would hear the Kazekage yell out to the village that she was here to claim this village under the rule of the land of wind. She told them that if there was any one there that wanted to detest that rule then come out to fight. Zenaku would watch as the village gates would open up and he could see some ninja but a lot of them was probably either genin or fresh chunin cause he could see a lot of them cowering in there boots.

He heard the lady kazekage ask him to show what he could do so zenaku walked towards the village gate and as he got close he suddenly activated his sharingan as he would knock out a lot of the ninja that did not have strong enough will power to resist so now there just stood those that could actually put up a challange.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by The Cockroach Cook Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:58 pm

Gabrosh had been watching from the observation tower as two shinobi approached the gates of Han'ei no mura. Gabrosh was not a native Birds shinobi, he was sent here by the Mountain Alliance. The ninja's true place of birth was the Land of Honey and he had been raised as a warrior since birth. He had fought as a mercenary for most of his life before finding a cause he truly believed in. He was an early supporter of the Mountain Alliance seeing it as an opportunity to take the Major Nations down a peg or two. When they beat Earth Country into the dirt he saw it as the dawn of a new era. An era where Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, and Lightning would tremble before the power of the Minor Nations working together. When they achieved their goal, he had been estatic and had signed a long term contract with the Alliance. Unfortunately, the jubilee didn't last long. Konoha turned its back on them and pushed them out of their new conquest. They didn't march across the border as feared, instead they kept Earth Country as a vassal nation.

When the Great Dying broke out, Gabrosh assumed that the Mountain Alliance was safe for now. There had been far too much war to fight for them to commit to a campaign here. It would give them time to gather their strength and plot their next move. If an attack did come, he expected it to come from Iwa but he watched in amazement as the conquerors presented themselves as anything but. He recognized the purple-haired woman as being Ei Kanegawa. The beautiful Kazekage in charge of taking over the Land of Rivers. The General known as the Flying Iguana, left his observation tower and grabbed his meteor hammer so as to greet her.

He met her outside of the gates and slung his hammer over his shoulder.

Gabrosh had noted the arrival of another shinobi and the second he noticed the Sharingan, he looked away. Now he understood. Suna and Kiri were allied in the war which made Konoha their allies by proxy. These Sand Devils were doing Konoha's dirty work for them. He wondered why Iwa wasn't moving on them as surely the Stone nation had a grudge to settle. He shrugged his mighty shoulders and called out to Nozom-Ei.

"Lady Ei! You humble us with your presence. I'm afraid, however, this nation is protected by the Mountain Alliance. I cannot let you claim this land and because you are trespassing I am going to have to ask you to kindly leave..."

Gabrosh then smashed his meteor hammer down into the ground creating a large dent in the earth.

"Wouldn't want to smash that pretty face of yours....."

"Ah yes, the Mountain Alliance. The ones who wanted to drop Kariforunia Island."

Nozomi had been no big fan of that part of the plan. Untold destruction to countless civilians simply for the purposes of war. While Nozomi didn't mind using people for her own benefit and gain, she was always careful not to include civilians. She'd kill innocent people if she needed to, but generally speaking those were shinobi and at least had made the choice to include themselves in combat. When it came to civilians, they just got caught up as collateral in between those who used them as pawns.

In addition to that, she'd directly saved Kariforunia Island from dropping, although she'd done so as Nozomi. It had been the first time she'd actually seen Ryuko since the Tournament, and they'd been working on the same side, although the woman had fallen to Raijin. Had they not decided to attack, Ryuko wouldn't have been injured as she was, and perhaps they could have had some time to catch up, but the attack had commenced, and even though Nozomi had slaughtered Ken, ended the former Mizukage Twins, and sent Raijin packing, she'd wanted to punish those responsible for getting in the way of her reunion with Ryuko.

A smile broke out upon Nozomi's face, hidden by the mask of Ei.

"Don't worry for me, worry about me."

Shifting into a low stance, Nozomi's hand rested on the hilt of her tanto, sensory stretching out 250 meters, catching any signatures in its range, estimating the signature strength of the man in front of her, obviously one who was sure of his strength, but often enough those people proved to be little more than pests to her. Nozomi was usually as strong, but much faster, than any of her opponents.

Still, she wasn't concerned with anything they could really muster. If none of her opponents were Kage level, she could flatten anything they threw at her with no difficulty. Still, that was also partially Zenaku's job to deal with any of the insects that attempted to bother her.

"Uchiha, secure the village if you would. This fighter is likely too much for you."

Nozomi was an excellent judge of physical prowess, having more experience than most against all manners of opponents. While she wasn't worried for herself, she knew that Zenaku wouldn't hold up long against Gabrosh in a direct conflict, and he was likely to only get in her way if he tried to assist her in fighting. He'd be more useful making sure that no other shinobi attempted to interfere in any way.

The mountain alliance that name seemed familiar to zenaku but for some reason he could not seem to remember where it was that he had heard, it was to much of a drag to try and use his smarts for something like that so instead he just watched as a large man showed up at the gates with a big hammer. Zenaku could tell from his chakra that he was a powerful enemy in his own rights.

The kazekage had told the uchiha to go take out a hold of the village as she would take care of this fighter. " Don't have to ask me twice, just looking at this guy i can tell he is at least a high level jonin if not the leader of there village so try not to lose."

Zenaku had said in a joking manner as he would jump up on to the top of the gate where he had to kick a ninja to the ground before he could head in to the village.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Gabrosh laughed. "Guilty as charged" He felt absolutely nothing for the people of Earth Country. Major nations had done much worse to those who lived in smaller states. They stole resources, indiscriminately slaughtered, and in some cases enslaved others. Given their history, he wondered if Ei also approved of the plan. She sounded like she didn't but usually Kage were a lot more ruthless then they let on.

When she said that he should be worried about fighting her, sobered up. Ei had taken down Rivers by herself. She wasn't a slouch. The enchanting woman settled into a fighting stance and Gabrosh picked up his Meteoric Hammer. He didn't bother stopping Zenaku as he was confident that his men could stop the Uchiha cold in his tracks. He was glad she didn't insult him by making him fight her minion although if she wasn't as formidable as the rumors said, she had made a grave mistake.

"Well since I can't convince you to leave....then perhaps after I break your legs you will join me for some tea"

Gabrosh was renown for his cringe attempts to hit on girls but he was also renown for his skill with a heavy blunt object. The General zipped forward at his top speed with one hand he gripped the hammer and with the other he gestured towards his target a mess of Rock Spears would erupt from beneath Nozomi aiming to skewer her. Wherever she moved to avoid them, Gabrosh would follow and swing his mighty hammer aiming to demolish her kneecaps. He kept his sensory active so as not to lose track of her. He wasn't sure how he fought but he guessed with puppets to distract and confuse while the real Ei struck from a flurry of automatons.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by Nozomi Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:37 pm

As Zenaku crested over the wall, Nozomi's smile dropped from her face. She no longer needed to put on the facade of mimicking Ei's mannerisms. As she held the stance, watching Gabrosh, she sensed the attack coming from under her. It was a technique she was moderately familiar with, having had it used against her before, as well as it being one of her closer associate's primary attacks.

Rather than retreat though, Nozomi launched herself forward, meeting Gabrosh's charge and clearing the rock pillar spears as they launched upward from where she'd been moments prior.

Her muscles flared slightly as she awoke her true strength, chakra coursing through her body momentarily to stimulate her muscular system. Nozomi's face looked like Ei's but the look behind the eyes were Nozomi's, a deadly gaze that betrayed her killer intent. The hammer swung towards her, but Nozomi's stance had kept her low, so as the hammer fanned for her kneecaps, she threw out a punch to intercept, her arm lashing towards the weapon and catching the head of the hammer, meeting it with her own brutal strength and resistance.

She felt the force behind it, impressive for most, but her own was a little greater, and her body like iron. Her arm shifted slightly, the vibration running up her arm, force behind it that may even leave a bruise, but to Gabrosh, it would have been like hitting pure steel. Her other arm, which had been holding the hilt of her sheathed Ebony tanto lashed out with immense speed, a quick sweep of her blade seeking to sever through the man's neck with a single slice.

What impressed her hadn't been his strength as much as the speed that he wielded his hammer. Whether she'd connected or not, Nozomi's gaze would shift to boredom. Unless he was holding back, this fight likely wouldn't last too much longer, and Nozomi was restricting herself a lot to even let herself enjoy any aspects of it. Barebones base power, no real techniques or stances, half chakra, no Sage or Bijuu abilities, she probably didn't even need any ninjutsu.

"Break me? You're like a weaker Ken Tetsudashi, and he was like paper to me."

Rather than the perfectly copied voice of Ei, Nozomi's own voice came from the image of Ei's body. If she had been Ei, then he'd certainly have pulverized her with a direct strike, but Nozomi wasn't built like a normal person. Her involvement in the death of Ken had been vastly spread, and likely would be well known to a member of the Mountain Alliance, as Nozomi's involvement in the protection of the floating Island had gotten around as the sole turning point of that particular invasion.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by The Cockroach Cook Sat Mar 06, 2021 7:02 pm

It appeared Ei was a sensitive soul. Sensitive in the sense that she was well attuned through environment either by perception or Kanchijutsu. She darted forwards and avoided his Earth Spears. No matter....Let's see how she handles this! Gabrosh had thrown his full power into the attack. He didn't necessarily expect it to hit. If she dodged then he'd get an accurate gauge of her true abilities. He'd know her speed, propensity for deflection, or any number of important technical aspects to her fighting style. The very last thing that the mercenary expected was for her to stop him head on with her bare hands. When contact was made Gabrosh literally felt his bones shake. He felt as though he had just struck and immovable steel wall and he dig his feet into keep from losing control of his weapon. In the blink of an eye, Nozom-Ei lashed out with a blade and he managed to move his neck backwards just in the nick of time. He acrobatically ducked low while retaining his grip on his blade and attempted a powerful sweep kick of the woman.

She was dainty and small but unreasonably powerful. She was a Kage so he ought not to have been so surprised but given Suna's reputation for puppetry and Ei's overall appearance, he had assumed her talents lay elsewhere. If the sweep kick failed then he'd have his answer. He'd also try to wrench his hammer from her grip, he was so focused on the fight that he hadn't really contemplated the meaning of her statement. Although the comparison to Ken was rather infuriating.

"Ken is nothing compared to me!" he shouted defiantly.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by Nozomi Mon Mar 08, 2021 10:07 pm

Nozomi's stance shifted in its usual smooth grace, flowing flawlessly in the throws of physical combat. In a way, she was more in her element just with a physical fight than she ever had been using ninjutsu, although as a nintai master, she knew that she was much more effective utilizing jutsu. However, despite that, only having to think about the martial aspects of a fight let her mind blank. When it came down to it, there wasn't a single person that she'd met that had a greater mastery of pure taijutsu than she had.

    This Gabrosh was no exception.

As he dropped low for his sweep kick, her experience against such a maneuver and general muscle memory had an immediate response. Some attacks required a lot of commitment, which also allowed for easier counters. Most of it had to do with stance though. Footing, the ability to retreat or redirect momentum at the drop of a dime, shifting an attack to a defense, all were important, and such an all out sweep while low reduced the ability of a fighter to move himself away.

Nozomi's body was already slightly lowered as well, and leaned slightly away from it to the side, letting the sweep make contact with her own leg, but the lean away from it created a slope that served to not only slow Gabrosh's momentum and absorb the impact, but also set up her grapple. With the dedicated sweep, the force behind it rode his leg up her own and she brought her arm down to clamp his leg to the side of her.

Securing the pin against her side, Nozomi would shift her body forward but to the side, using the same momentum of his strike, her lean, and combined with a half twirl of her body to fully halt all the impact on herself and lift him by his leg, maintaining the hold and pulling him up into the air and back down into the ground behind her on his back with the rest of her motion.

Bearing down on him from there, Nozomi's other fist came down as her own momentum shifted her onto him, attempting to bring the tanto in a hammer fist onto his chest.

Ei was just as physically fit as he was. This was a surprising development given the fact that he assumed she was was a puppeteer. Someone with a weak physical body that couldn't stand up to the rigors of close quarters combat. Gabrosh found himself being lifted into the air and then slammed onto the ground. When he saw Nozom-Ei bringing down her tanto on him he moved his meteor hammer in the way to block the strike. There was no way that the tiny piece of metal could block his mighty hammer. While he geared up for a defense, he also moved on the offensive as well.

    "Archers!" he shouted.

Three men with B-Rank bows would aim from atop the walls of Han'ei no mura and fire at Nozomi from behind. Their goal was to kill her before she could finish her stabbing gesture.

Nozomi's sensory picked up the archers even before Gabrosh called out for the aid. They weren't a problem to her in the slightest, hence her having ignored them, but the act irked her. A one on one fight turned into a 4 on 1. Nozomi had played by the rules of the engagement up to that point, and had been fine simply using taijutsu. Even against his ninjutsu and weaponry, she really didn't mind. Bringing others into the fray though, that wouldn't do.

Dropping the transformation she was maintaining, Nozomi's form shifted back to her normal one. Her chest flattened slightly, her stature dropped an inch, her hair and eye colors changed back to normal. The arrows struck her back, but they clattered harmlessly to the ground, their momentum dying out immediately. Despite appearances, her kimono was an armor of unmatched quality. Not only was it incredibly resilient to piercing and cutting edges, but it absorbed blunt impact far above the strength of the arrows.

Her tanto clashed against his hammer, and she brought her weight and force down to hold the hammer to him. Charging up her chakra, she released it as she had him pinned, releasing a current of Raiton in all directions around her, charring Gabrosh under her, stunning him if he managed to remain alive. Chidori current was an almost instant defense, and in the hands of a close quarters fighter, especially one who had their opponent pinned, it was hard enough to counter.

Releasing his leg, Nozomi's hand would raise, the sensory providing the locations of the men at the top of the wall that had launched arrows at her, and she returned her own volley of attacks. Each of them were just near the end of her attack range, but just inside it as well. The Raiton needles would soar on a direct path through each of the peeking archer's head, piercing and pin cushioning them.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Post by The Cockroach Cook Thu Mar 18, 2021 11:40 am

"What the fu-" Gabrosh thought to himself as the Kazekage shifted form. Wisps of smoke plumed into the air and before his very eyes. He was no longer greeted by the sight of the indigo haired, plump breasted, and hearty figure of Ei. He was now face-to-face with the she-devil that had raided the most secure prison on Earth. The Mountain Alliance General had seen a lot during the war but none of it could have prepared him for this. A million thoughts ran through his head as he realized he had been fighting Nozomi Himitsu the whole time. Fortunately, years of military training had taught him to block out the excess. He was now focused on his own survival, at all costs.

The force of their clash generated a powerful gust of wind. He held firm against her impressive might as he wracked his brain for a solution. He opened his mouth to ask for a parlay under the logic that the circumstance had changed. Nozomi was no stooge of the Great Nations. She had more in common with him than she did with the Kage. But alas, before he could utter a word a stream of electricity burst from Nozomi's body. Gabrosh knew no sealess jutsu and both of his hands were occupied with blocking Nozomi's tanto which somehow rivaled if not exceeded his own meteor hammer. The General's vitality wasn't much higher than that of a average human and so he was painfully electrocuted to death.

The archers saw the sparks of electrical senbon heading their way. They also could tell with their keen vision that the Land of Birds had been played a fool. It was not Ei at their doorstep but rather Nozomi. The archers (who had just got done firing on Zenaku) scatted from their location just in the nick of time. They barely dodged the streaks of light headed their way and they notched yet another series of arrows and fired. from separate locations on the wall. This time, they aimed squarely for the head, a tactic only made possible by their high level of coordination.

Siege of Han'ei No Mura Empty Re: Siege of Han'ei No Mura

Nozomi's successful kill of Gabrosh was little more than a bookmark to her. There were still others to deal with, although Zenaku was currently fighting some of them. She hung back for the time being, watching a little bit, the arrows heading towards her head. A simple maneuver and she dodged out of the way of each arrow, weaving ever so slightly. At their current speed, she was well able to handle them oncoming.

Truth be told, she was more or less finished with her disguise as Ei. As much as it suited her to pretend to be the Kazekage, something about Gabrosh's disrespect for her keyed her in on a simple fact: Nozomi's identity commanded much more authority and presence than Ei's ever would. She'd earned that much, and masquerading as someone else was beneath her at this point.

Besides that, she was in charge of Sunagakure, which did command the authority of the Kazekage, as well as her control over other minor nations, and the Society. Keeping them separate was just an annoyance, and something she could rectify later. The Hokage had sent a single Uchiha, and if that wasn't enough of a signal that he didn't respect the Kazekage, she didn't know what was. Besides, it didn't really matter too much longer anyhow. She'd been planning on revealing herself during the Kage Summit, and this invasion was going to be cutting into the time it took to attend in the first place.

Nozomi had decided to sit out a few rounds while monitoring the combat up with Zenaku using her sensory. It went surprisingly well considering. During the pause, her fission had arrived, simply walking into Nozomi and forming the two of them back into on being, restoring her chakra and access to high level jutsu.

In a surprising twist, Zenaku had actually just about settled the fight on his end. A massive torrent of fire, incinerating parts of the wall, and several of the shinobi. The fight was drawing to a close, and with it, so were Zenaku's chakra reserves. As much as he was capable of utilizing S rank jutsu, he didn't have massive reserved with which to use them, and she could sense them reaching the threshold of exhaustion.

It was time to bring this fight to an end and head to the summit.
