One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections. The bedding was hardly able to cover it and seemed ready to slide off any moment. His many legs, pitifully thin compared with the size of the rest of him, waved about helplessly as he looked. "What's happened to me?" he thought. It wasn't a dream. His room, a proper human room although a little too small, lay peacefully between its four familiar walls. A collection of textile samples lay spread out on the table - Samsa was a travelling salesman - and above it there hung a picture that he had recently cut out of an illustrated magazine and housed in a nice, gilded frame. It showed a lady fitted out with a fur hat and fur boa who sat upright, raising a heavy fur muff that covered the whole of her lower arm towards the viewer. Tranquility Base
Non-descript, somewhat run-down, and generally boring by daylight, this side-street lights up at night. Crowded and sweaty, nearly every surface of the ally has been encrusted in some kind of bright neon, the palette composed primarily of deep, carnal reds and cool, almost minty aqua. Here, one can find every kind of food and drink; here, one may engage in any seedy aspect of the underground world of man and ninja; here, you may seek any pleasure, any primal joy available to the flesh. And here, in this cluttered and threatened back alley, prominently featured, is a fabulous onsen.
Next to a noodle bar and a pawn shop, across from a fancy night club, stands a stone structure lacking any of the neon flare of the surrounding establishments. Above the entrance, a lapis lazuli effigy of a smiling tengu is half visible, some 15 meters into the air. From the open, smiling mouth pours a constant flow some unknown kind of thick silvery mist which cascades down to the ground in thick sheets, completely obscuring any glimpse of what lies within. Many of the more prominent establishments here have conspicuous security guards present, and yet outside the mist there appears no guards.

Floor 1 - Onsen
Once clearing the thick, cooling mists, customers are greeted by a small, tidy reception area in which each attendee shall receive a locker key and a thick, plush bathrobe. To the left is a women's changing area; to the right, a men's, though the distinctions are unenforced. From here, one can enter the onsen proper, a large, central and naturally occurring hot spring for mixed gendered use. Alternatively, two separate gender-restricted chambers exist as off-shoots from the main spring for the shyer among us. Connected as well to the main spring, for those wishing to melt their worries away, lie a set of huge, marble steam rooms in radial symmetry, available in 3 different temperatures and once more set aside with 3 for the men and 3 for the ladies.
Though the entrance to the base is relatively unassuming and crowded, the hot spring makes it plainly apparent that nearly the entirety of two full city blocks have been carved out to accommodate the lush experience of the Tranquility Base. Light fare and drinks are all available for purchase to enhance the experience of the patrons.

Floor 2 - Spa Services
Above the quiet chatter of onsen and its serene sound of bubbling and pattering water, the second floor of the Base has a collection of private rooms for individual and small group uses. Here, the majority of the spa services are available - save the actual enjoyment of the rejuvenating waters. The rooms are also available for private meetings of nearly any purpose, and soundproof options as well as personalized security details may be purchased. Thus, one may come to floor 2 for a special business meeting, for the exchange of illicit human organs, or to enjoy a soothing skin massage.

The string is reduced to the most inconspicuous chakra output, and as such confers no manipulative capabilities while making it instead nearly invisible. Once attached, chaotic impulses are sent subtly down the wire, not enough to make a puppet malfunction, but enough to disturb the delicate muscle memory and practice that a puppeteer has with their doll. Symptoms: A sumptuous, signature scent craft and worn by none other than the illustrious (and beautiful) Osho. Manufactured in one of two ways, it either presents as a transparent liquid with a slightly blue-silver tint, or as a small sachet of various herps and petals, which mostly hold a similar hue. Regardless of the state, it is worn as a cologne and smells of deep-wood pines, a dash of musk, a touch of frigid night air, and the faintest wisp of nostalgia. What is that scent? It's so faint and yet so powerfully reminiscent of something important but you just can't put your finger on it.
Effects: While the scent is intoxicating, the effects of this delicate poison are both diffuse and incredibly subtle, making it rather difficult to detect. They are also extremely short lived. The effective radius is a mere 10 meters, and anyone in that area who smells the poison will almost instantly find themselves weakened ever-so-slightly. This, however, will last for only a single post unless they are exposed again/continually, meaning anyone who leave's the man's presence will be quickly cleansed of these effects. 1 dose/application will last for 10 posts before reapplication is required. The nostalgic finishing notes make victims struggle to maintain their full concentration, giving the slightest hint of absentmindedness, as if one had not eaten in a while.

General Description: A marvel and a beauty, this puppet is crafted almost entirely from reams and reams of fabric. The main 'body' of the puppet is entirely fungible. In what passes as a 'base' form, the doll looks like a hood with a squid-like mantle of fabric drifting below it, much like a classic ghost made out of a bed sheet, although much thicker. In this form it hovers a few inches off the ground, suspended on chakra threads, at roughly 2 meters call. This form is rarely seen, however, as instead the puppeteer typically manipulates the fabric into various cloaks, capes, or other articles of apparel. This keeps the doll nearby and allows for surprise attackers from the hidden scarves within, while providing the height of fashion. The inner lining of the puppet can be outfitted with various carrying devices, but otherwise have some pockets and such to store things.

General Description: This is primarily a ranged user. Main weapon is the large bow/shield concoction functioning as an S rank bow. Probably put a launcher or 3 on it as well. Can use shield as well for protection, and a gyroscope like effect to let it fire perpendicular to the plane of she shield. Engage enemies at close range when needed wit spear or with fists. Potentially pair with Gwyndolin and/or the lurker puppet?
Probably fire relatively normal sized arrows, maybe slightly on the large side. Get with at least some glass arrows that burst to release a chemical inside of them. Senbon launcher underneath the shield, as well as shuriken launchers inside of the shoulders. Could electrify the spear perhaps, though Gwyn probably does that natively.

While the technique varies, the overall effect is not something incredibly unique. That said, this particular fabric is locally famous for not sacrificing on form, retaining an impossibly smooth, buttery feel and taking to dyes easily, all while boasting an impressive level of tear resistance.

Description: A masterpiece of fabrics, this particular variant of thread makes use of specially kept silkworms in order to create the foundational item. However, the silk worms are offered to a collection of spiders cursed with a menagerie of Yokai spirits who consume the worms and spin a re-enforced thread from it. Deluded and possessed, these curse spiders weave not a thread, but a kind of bolt of fabric, which resembles something like a microscopic chainmail in its weave. Because of how durable it is, the fabric can be quite difficult to work with and it is thus typically easier enchant the spiders to weave a specific garment rather than manipulate it after creation.
The finished product is of a sublime softness and so light it feels like not wearing anything. While it can be dyed any color, the base form is a stark, almost translucent white, the gossamer strands coming together in an ethereal mass of pure white. It holds colors well, making it a favorite among artisans, but when dyed black it appears otherworldly and ethereal, much like the white, a kind of deep and endless void of black, as if the weaver had made the fabric directly from nearby shadows. In any color variety, the micro-weave provides stellar defense against cuts and tears, reducing the strength/power of opposing slashing/piercing by 1 tier (---).

Description: Building off of the abilities of the parent technique to manipulate fabric, this alters or, more commonly, destroys an opponent's garment. By attaching a puppet string to an opponent, the user simply undoes the weave of the fabric to alter, loosen, or unravel it. Becoming suddenly naked can be quite embarrassing for an opponent. This causes D rank psychological damage every turn until the victim gets over it.
Weakness: Does no physical damage, and utility is subject to what an opponent is wearing. Must get a string attached to an opponent. Threads can be cut by chakra enhanced attack/weapon of power greater than the rank of technique used. Target can chose to not be fully nude (keeping underwear an the like) and can simply chose to ignore that psychological damage if it's not something their character would actually care about.

Description: A more offensive use of puppet-less kugutsu, this once more builds upon clothing manipulation facilitated through chakra strings. After attaching a thread to a target's clothing, they will run the thread through the clothing and pull upon it, heavily restricting the target's movements and causing crushing damage every turn equal to 1 rank lower than the amount of chakra put into the technique. Additionally, for the duration, their coordination and speed will be lowered by 2 advantages (--) each.

Description: An ability which aims to disarm an opponent of their precious weapon or armor piece. After attaching a string to the opponent's item of interest, the user will simply pump chakra into the thread and, with a flick of a finger, attempt to violently yank the item away as if it were a puppet. When used on a weapon, opponent's with strength higher than the rank of the technique used will resist, not loosing their weapon. However, they will take a 1 tier minus to their coordination for 2 posts. Those with insufficient strength will be relieved of their weapon, allowing the user to fling it in any direction of their choosing for up to 50m. Attunement bonuses etc, if applicable, will be lost until the weapon is retrieved.
When used on armor pieces, the effect is slightly different. Most armor is much harder to remove from a target, and this technique would be generally insufficient to strip someone of such protection (subject to roleplay and the make/fit/etc of the armor. Target of this can determine if it should be removed). Thus, when used on such a defensive mechanism, the tug instead causes a sudden, violent jerking of the armor against the body of the victim, creating a kind of rending action. When this occurs, the victim will take physical/bludgeoning damage to the region wearing the armor equal to the difference between their base constitution and the base rank of said armor. (I.e. A rank constitution wearing S rank armor would take D rank damage). This can be used against puppets being worn as armors in the same fashion.
Weakness: Must attach thread to opponent somehow, and thread cannot be used to manipulate a puppet for the duration. Description: Building upon the ability to manipulate, re-weave, and unravel clothing using chakra threads even further, the user attempts here to damage or destroy armor that an opponent wears. Most armor contains some kind of on-metallic component to fasten it together, attach it to the wearer, or prevent chafing and provide a snug fit. This will target those weak points, pulling, altering, and unraveling them so as to affect the quality and fit of the armor in question. Essentially, the armor will begin falling apart at the seams, fitting improperly and in some cases sliding off entirely. This is mechanically represented by a 1 tier (---) reduction in the armor's rank. When used at S rank of this technique, it becomes a 2 tier (------) reduction. This is not a debuff, however; the armor is literally damaged and can possibly fall off completely without some means of properly securing it to one's body.

- [NAME] is capable of draining chakra from others as a natural consequence of her Otsutsuki ancestry. This UA allows him to app techniques that can drain chakra, although those techniques leave him more open to receiving damage from chakra as well.
Without using techniques, he can choose to drain 5 chakra from someone by making physical contact with them using his forearms or hands, although she has to consciously do so. This is able to be used through gloves and clothes, but does not extend to other tools or weapons.
Every time he makes contact, he can draw out chakra from a person (capped at 15 per person per post) or 15 chakra per person if she sustains contact the entire post. However, doing so opens [NAME] up to increased damage (+1 rank of damage) from tangible chakra techniques for the rest of the post round. This is all elemental jutsu, and all attacks with tangible chakra, such as Chakra Flow and other such techniques. The amount that this UA allows for non technique absorption in a thread is capped at half of [NAME]'s base stamina cap, even if taken from multiple different people. This cannot set him over his maximum pool of chakra either.
Second Wind: [NAME] Id can, in a pinch, jumpstart the man's chakra supply, restoring 25% of his total chakra pool. He can only do this once per thread and doing so causing him to incur double the exhaustion penalty (or regular penalty should he hit A rank stamina).
ParanoID: Hisha's ID can passively sense when Hisha's chakra is being sensed (as by the Sensing Technique) This does not confer any information regarding who is sensing him, where they are, how many people are sensing him, etc. It only lets him know if he is currently being sensed. As a result of this, his chakra has a very 'outgoing' vibe to it and it cannot be hidden via Chakra Supression.

Description: An information leak in a technique, this allows a user to "consume" text through touch, using a light flow of chakra to create a copy of any text in a book/scroll/etc, and then download it directly into the user, giving them easy and continually referenceable access to whatever information is contained within, but without damaging the text itself. This can help the user covertly steal information, or simply read an entire library in a day or so. If used via touch, the handseals are not required, but if attempting to examine anything via eyesight or sensory requires the seals, holding the final. The caster may also make use of this to gain a greater understanding of a fuinjutsu seal through this ability, using their chakra to enhance their understanding and expedite their examination of a foreign seal. When done in this manner, the user can examine a seal of a rank equal to their intelligence per post (or 2 of a rank lower, etc), with each rank above their intelligence taking 1 extra post of analysis. For example, a B rank intelligence user could understand the workings of a B rank seal in 1 post, an A rank seal in 2 posts, or 2 C rank seals in 1 post, etc. Analyzing a seal in this way grants the user of its general functions and nature (such has if it's a trap, and what would trigger it). A seal that has been analyzed in this way will have the caster's intelligence treated as 1 tier lower (---) at C rank or 2 tiers lower (------) at S rank, if the user decides to attempt to unseal it.
Weakness: Absorbing information without knowledge of what's in a particular scroll or book can be a real liability to the thief. Touching a seal may well cause a trap to activate prior to the user analyzing it. The increased ease of breaking a seal analyzed by this technique will only last for the thread in which the analysis is performed, even though functional understanding carries over (meaning the user would have to re-examine a seal they've already analyzed to break it again, even if they had previously encountered it).

Description: A strange barrier technique, this ability expands a barrier without any defensive properties, allowing anyone or anything to pass through it, with the sole exception of other barrier techniques. Once the hand signs are completed, the user can expand a spherical or hemi-spherical barrier which will push other barrier techniques out of this barrier's domain, unless specified as "permitted" to pass through by the user. If a barrier cannot be completely pushed away (such as very large barriers), this will simply "push" the barriers' boundaries, slightly reshaping the boundaries of the offending ability to shove only a piece of it away. If cast fully inside a barrier, the outer edge of the Fisheye Lens will merge with any external barriers the user does not omit, creating an inner edge of the barrier to ultimately create a space inside enemy barrier free from its effects. In any case, this technique can only interfere with barriers of equal or lesser power. If a barrier has no power/rank, it will be considered equal in power to whatever object is generating it. If that has no power/rank, it will be considered B rank.
Weakness: This can, itself, be undone by normal fuinjutsu rules, allowing any displaced barriers to go back to wherever they were supposed to be. This technique does not damage or undo enemy barriers in any way, making it a temporary solution at best.
