The day had just begun, the sun not overly far over the horizon. It still had it's pinkish/orange cast to it's colouring as the light filtered through the horizon. The main tower of Darhk Industries was open for business and Tamwyn came inside, his trademark apparel upon his form. He had come to the tower for a specific purpose. He came not as Damien's personal bodyguard, but as a customer, looking to invest in Darhk Industries by buying shares within the man's company. After all, what better way to make money than to back the man who was arguably the richest person in the world? For a reason.
Moving up to the desk, Tamwyn would see none other than Zhu Li behind the counter. She was standing behind another employee, observing them as they worked. Tamwyn couldn't make out their features. Behind the mask and uniform all Darhk Industry employees appeared the same. Although Zhu Li didn't wear such a mask. Her silvery hair was easily recognizable and he would nod toward her in greeting as they ran into each other over the counter. "Zhu Li, lovely morning we're having isn't it?" He would say, greeting the woman respectfully. She would return his nod, her expression however would not change. "Tamwyn, how can we help you?" She would ask, her greeting respectful, and not impolite, although it lacked a certain warmth to it. Zhu Li, was a business woman through and through. Social niceties were things that sometimes didn't click well with certain individuals.
Tamwyn had no doubt she could be as warm and welcoming as she needed to be to get the job done. However he wasn't just a customer, he worked for Mr. Darhk as well, and it wouldn't be the least bit surprising to find that she decided to forego the extra effort for someone who understood she was doing her job. "I'm actually here to buy some shares in the company if I may." He would say, smiling politely as he stated his reason for coming. The silver haired woman would nod and motion for the employee she was supervising to hop out of the chair. The employee would do so and Zhu Li would sit down before lifting a seemingly ever present clipboard and flipping through it for a form before taking two of it out and setting it on the table. Motioning to things with a pen she would begin to speak. "Shares cost 100 Ryo per share, there's no minimum. You're return will be one quarter of what you paid when you purchased those shares every month. We have a total of up to 10,000 share that are available. How many are you looking to purchase?" She would ask, looking up to him and meeting his eyes. "4,000." He would would respond with a polite node of his head. She would begin to fill in information. The number of shares, the amount he was required to pay on the spot. The amount he would be paid each month, the date of the transaction, and then she would sign it before filling the information out on each form, turning the pages around and holding the pen out.
Tamwyn would take the pen, and sign his signature upon the pages before withdrawing the 400,000 ryo required and setting it on the desk for Zhu Li. She would in turn take the ryo and count it, meticulously. He could tell she was simply doing a transaction and that it wasn't due to a lack of trust. Mistakes could always be made after all. However all of it would be present and she would nod her head before looking to him again. "One of the forms is for you to keep. I'll get this processed immediately. Is there anything else?" She would ask, her tone polite, but still businesslike. Shaking his head no she would nod her head in farewell. "Thank you for coming to Darhk Industries Mr. Tamwyn, please, have a great day." She would say before motioning for the employee she had been supervising to return to their chair. Tamwyn would nod his head toward her before giving her a florid bow and leaving. As he left the day felt brighter, after all. It was always good to invest in ones own future.
