As his first set of bullets were deflected he would cease firing, terrified at what had just happened. That was his strongest technique, and to have it so casually deflected like that was frightening beyond belief. The other two sets he was about to fire would be shelved, seeing as they would likely be useless. With Inarie’s tail coiled down into the ground Chigetsu could see the spring in motion, ready to unleash. The tail changed everything. It gave Inarie an incredible reach that would easily be able to skewer and fry Chigetsu if it reached him. Even more so than the aura it changed the pacing of the fight. Chigetsu couldn’t get anywhere near her now, and while the distance before had just been for extra safety now he needed every inch of it.
Still, it seemed that he wouldn’t have many options remaining. With her in the air leaping towards him Chigetsu could still evade, but time was running out. There wasn’t much space left for him to continue running, and with her increased reach because of the tail he would be out of luck. The combat would temporarily come to a halt though as Inarie thrusted her blade down into the stone, creating a temporary shield between the two of them. Inarie would be forming hand seals during that time, but Chigetsu would be moving as well. In the moment of reprieve he would stop his backwards movement, although with his momentum he would remain skidding backwards. Quickly he brought his hand down to the ground, slapping his now open palm into the stone beneath him. A summoning seal would appear in an instant, and following that the entire area would be captured in a massive plume of smoke.
The Ōhamaguri, or the Giant Clam, would be summoned. The grandest of all the clams that the Hozuki Clan could summon. Immediately it would propel Chigetsu upwards, being carried up by the clam materializing in front of him. The massive size of the clam would immediately render the distance that had been made between the two of them, around twelve meters, void. The clam was six meters tall, and at its widest point would be about seventeen meters in width. The length of the clam would be fifteen meters, and because of this from the tip of the clam there would only be five meters of distance between the shell and Inarie's sowrd. Due to the positioning of the clam as it was summoned it wouldn’t slam into the sword that Inarie had put down, but it would be close. She would surely hear it as it was summoned though, the sound of it impacting the ground ringing out around the arena.
The clam, shut tight as in its default state, would remain as it was despite being just summoned. Chigetsu, now at the top of the clam, would desperately reach down to tap a message into the shell. It was a simple one.
‘H-E-L-P! - Stop her!’. It was just about then that the azure petals would begin to hone in on his position.
The Ōhamaguri would wordlessly comply with the request. Chakra sensory would be sent out, and as soon as it located the aggressor, who was the nearest individual to Chigetsu, it would send out a blast of chakra. It would have the intent of binding her, and with the distance closed from the clam’s incredible size it would be more than capable of reaching her with the close range burst.
Chigetsu, in the meanwhile, would be back on the run. As the petals came closer he would be forced to continue to retreat, backwards on the clam shell. He would move in diagonal until he reached the edge of the shell, and through the slightest crack between its two halves he would slip inside, liquefying his body to slide through the crack and hide himself inside the clam.
