It's not about overpowering an enemy, Guest.

It's about taking away what power they have.

    Name: Kazan | 火山
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
    Village: Kirigakure no Sato
    Rank: D Class || Genin

    Skill(s): Ninjutsu | Fuinjutsu

    Stats

    • Speed: D
    • Coordination: D
    • Intelligence: C
    • Perception: D

Unique Abilities: One-handed Seals: Pretty straightforward. A player may weave hand seals with only one hand. This results in a one tier loss of Coordination for that hand regarding hand seals.

Mo-Money: A player may start off with additional income, which the max amount correlates to the player's starting rank. Upon doing so 50% of all future income counts towards that sum with an interest of 50% as well. [100,000 Ryo]

Appearance: Kazan is a lean and fairly muscular young man of average height. He has red, ringed eyes and black medium length hair with a long, segmented ponytail that stretches down to his ankles. He wears purple makeup on his eyes, which fades toward the inner portions of his eyelids.

Kazan sports an Indian chunnari around his shoulders and a small, short-sleeved, black, midriff-baring choli, which is where he keeps his tanto. He also sports an Indian leg dress, which stops at his ankles, but does not wear shoes. He has gold bangle bracelets that extend from his elbows to his wrists and a gold bangle necklace with a ruby in the center that is inspired by Rajasthani folk dancers.

History: Far outside of the boundaries of the Lands of the Shinobi, there was a walled village with houses made of stone. It was a simple enough place, home to many people, young and old. However, there was one individual within this city that stood out from the rest. Words reach the ears of the wise men of the land; a child was born with miraculous powers, like no one had ever seen before in their walled village. He was able to perform from an early age, the child was able to perform what his people considered miracles; walking on water, being able to levitate metallic objects in his vicinity, and every time that he used these abilities, the air was filled with strange wisps of energy that resembled butterflies. The people of his village knew nothing of what this was, and claimed that the child was a God within the body of a mortal. As time went on, the villagers came to worship the child. As the child grew, so did his power; despite all, the child remained humble.

As a young child, Kazan was intent on becoming a magician in the service of his Lord. His will and dedication were unmatched by any of his peers, and his skill drew the attention of a local sorcerer, who agreed to teach Kazan how to control his abilities alongside his other apprentices. While studying under the sorcerer, Kazan became frustrated with instruction paced for the other students. He spent his free time researching the nuances of battle magic and conjuring in hopes of impressing his master sooner. He made amazing advances in his conjuring studies, surpassing all other students. By all indications, he would have become one of his village's greatest summoners were it not for one terrible mistake. Too impatient, he attempted to test his ability by summoning a beast from the wastelands. What he summoned instead was a young boy, and not in one piece. He barely had time to look the boy in what was once his face before the jumbled human mass fell lifeless to the floor. An investigation later revealed that the boy's entire village was obliterated by feedback from the ritual.

Kazan's talents were so promising that his master was willing to overlook the incident, but he could never forgive himself. He left the apprenticeship and journeyed back home, vowing to never practice conjuring or his magick ever again. However, an elder Shaman of the land recognized the child's power for what it was; the usage of his very own lifeforce, Chakra. The Shaman, knowing full well that Kazan could be very well taught to refine his power if he was trained in the correct methods, offered to the child's parents to show the child a place where he could learn to develop his power. He told them and the child of a land far away, where people of similar abilities lived; it was there that there were temples dedicated to the 'Arts of Sorcery' and they would show the child the proper ways to utilize his power. The child's parents agreed to this, and allowed him to depart under the care of the shaman.

For many months, the pair traveled, relying on old maps to lead them to the land of the shinobi. Not long after they arrived, the pair was set upon by bandits. The elder shaman was killed, and the child was injured, a head wound causing him to forget his past. When the child came to, he was surrounded by the wisps of his power, still taking the form of butterflies. As he gazed upon them, he noticed that they seemed to be leading him. After following them for several days, he came upon a temple; the very same one that he was traveling to with the shaman. The monks of the temple welcomed the child with open arms, unaware of the child's original mission. Kazan happily remained with the monks, rediscovering his abilities to perform certain supernatural feats. Realizing the potential the child possessed, the monks began to train Kazan. His mind flourished under the training, and his body developed into a fighting machine. Upon his arms they placed iron rings to increase his strength; upon his ankles were placed leg weights in order to train his speed. It was under these conditions that his mind and body flourished. Kazan threw himself into his training like he once did his summoning studies. It was during this training that it came to be known that Kazan possessed a strange anomaly within his chakra: whenever the child was to perform a technique, his chakra manifested outside of his body in the form of butterflies...

Personality: Kazan is a quiet individual, an introverted and reflective soul. He does not speak unless spoken to, nor does he speak without thinking first. The outcome of this patient approach to socializing is often a witty remark, or wise saying. Even then, his responses are short. His voice is soft, almost fragile, as if he is shy. His quietness often sets him apart. His elders often said that he would grow up to be "the strong, silent type". He is a thinker, not in the battle sense, but philosophical, due to the teachings that the monks of the Monastery instilled in him. He’s polite and even gracious, particularly to people who treat him with respect. Those who do not treat him this way or those who insult him should know he will not hesitate to spit words of venom and bile in response and, when necessary, punch out a few teeth.

One of Kazan's main interests is bettering the world that he lives in. He was taught by the monks of the monastery to treasure all life, and that to guide those that he came across, he must walk among the people of the world, and learn from them. Kazan sees himself as capable of doing so, given his desire to protect those around him. Kazan prefers diplomacy over fighting, unless absolutely needed. He rarely, if ever, feels the need to draw his weapons or begin using his abilities. He believes that peace should be preserved, and not stained with blood. But this mindset is not absolute. If he does draw on his powers, Kazan shall not abate until his mission is accomplished, the threat has been abated, and the ground runs red. He believes that the world needs peace, and if someone threatens peace, they should be made into an example..  He aims to spread the word of peace to all corners of the world; either by peace or by force if needed.
