    Kyara's Izakaya Empty Kyara's Izakaya

Masuyo wore the standard gear most Shinobi in Iwagakure wear. Her footwear consisted of standard black sandals fitted for comfort and security. With the toes and heel left exposed they provided additional balance, while the rest of the foot up to the ankle was protected by the thick material of the sandal. The soles of the sandals are reinforced with hardened material to resist heavy impacts and wear. Fishnet tights draw from her feet all the way up the entire length of her legs designed to fit snugly and providing minimal warmth while still remaining breathable in hotter conditions. A pair of tight black shorts reach down nearly five inches above her knees. White bandage wrap is wrapped around her right thigh which has a navy blue holster strapped over. Around her waist she wears the basic utility belt which carries two green holsters on her right side along with a tool pouch around her back side. She wears a red lapel on her left side extending down to her knee not interfering with her access to her tools.

A red top is worn with loose sleeves reaching down just a little past her elbows. This is reinforced with a brown leather flak jacket provided by Iwagakure's armory which serves as issued the issued armor. This is accompanied by an additional tool pouch which is wrapped around the abdomen facing the front instead of being on the rear. On both hands Masuyo wears a set of fingerless black gloves backed with small steel plates providing comfort and protection. Around her neck Masuyo wears her forehead protector as a collar. The black cloth is tied in a knot around the back side of her neck with the steel plate facing the front for identification. The steel plate has Iwagakure's emblem engraved on the front. Masuyo has straight black hair which extends down to her mid back. Two strands of hair drop down touching her chest which leads into her bangs which are cut shorter and swept to her right side. She stands at 5'9 weighing approximately 145 lbs. Her fair skin is complimented with her voluptuous form which is completed with a pair of hazel eyes.

The day was coming to an end as the sun was getting ready to set throwing a red-orange hue over the exposed parts of the village. Done with her duties for the day Masuyo found herself in the market. It was rich for social interactions and errands with a good 40% of the village population found either working or socializing there. Masuyo had to replace her old set of gear, but after that had no other plans for the day. Her first stop was at the armory. She browsed the shelves and bulk ordered what she knew she needed. Bringing the gear to the counter all in one arm basket the clerk completed the transaction. As she fitted her gear on her body and in their appropriate storage containers the clerk sealed her giant shuriken before handing her the scroll to complete the trade. Having everything set she bid her farewells to the clerk and left the armory.

Masuyo stood by the armory's entrance at the sidewalk as she scanned the market center. Among the crowds of people and horse-drawn carts were various businesses and booths where entertainment, Inns, foods ranging from street skewers to dine-in places, general goods, groceries and everything far in between. It was certainly a fantastic place to spend the day if one had the money to spare. Masuyo was no exactly poor in terms of income seeing as housing and basic utilities are provided leaving her to only have to pay for her own food, gear, and hobbies. Her most recent mission scored her fifty grande, which was enough for an entire new load-out and food for the next few months. Her life was easy and full of pleasures, one such as hers only being obtained through hard work and struggle in her early years. It all paid off in the end allowing her to enjoy her prime years as they should be.

Weaving through the crowd Masuyo found herself in front of a stone building dressed with red cloth and a billboard reading "Kyara izakaya." Pushing the hinged oak door open greeted her with a gust of warm air from the interior. The smell of tobacco smoke, alcohol, and fried foods filled the atmosphere as Masuyo was lulled inside. A core of earth ran through the center of the building, which was designed into a round bar with shelves of booze wrapping around the construct followed by a circular bar counter and three staff members tending behind it actively filling out drink orders for the consumer. The floor was made of fine teak planks which covered the entire building's ground. Standing tables with chairs and low tables with cushions, for more traditional dining, covered the majority of the Izakaya. A lot of people were present in the building though there were a handful of available places to seat. A small instrumental band played lively music on a small stage with the occasional tipper dropping ryo in their jar.

Masuyo found herself a seat somewhere in the middle not choosing a secluded area. She sat on her knees, as her table was one of the low ones. A royal blue, surprisingly silk, blanket with gold trimming was laid out below the table with four cushions of different color were placed on each side of the table, Masuyo choosing the deep lavender one to rest on. Scanning the area she saw mostly commoners. The traders were easy to pick out in the crowd. A small group of Chuunin were celebrating at a standing table on the far end of the building, neither of them acknowledging her presence from her perspective. Before fully sponging the atmosphere she was greeted by a waitress with a wide grin. She gasped for air before speaking, Masuyo lifting her head to see a clammy visage of a young woman. "Hi! I'm fine, thank you. I'd like a pint of whatever dark beer you have, and octopus karaage, please." The waitress nodded obediently, memorizing her single order before placing a small wood bowl of lightly salted, dried edamame beans at the enter of the table as the waitress left to fulfill her order.

Roughly half an hour later Masuyo was finished, having her food order eaten and having gone through her beer. After a long day and running her errands she was able to unwind in a rather pleasing atmosphere. Though she enjoyed herself she was unable to find some sort of company for the night which to her as disappointing. Alas, she had no time to cry over a wasted opportunity. Masuyo needed to get home and rest to prepare for a new day of work. Leaving a generous tip for the waitress Masuyo stood up, stretched, and headed out the doors to the establishment taking the road among the civilians back to home.
